I have no idea how.

I got a neomail re: one of my trades, asking (I believe) if it was OK to build a shiny, high-quality car in a fort in Istanbul. Or something. At any rate, after that all of my notifications, including the offer on the referenced trade, have been in German. But all of the items in shops and the like have been in English.

Strange.

Strange indeed - unless that is what happens if the person offering on your trade has their language settings adjusted. If they are offering in german, then it would probably stay in german when you receive it.

I have received nmails in a foreign language before and after sending a return nmail explaining I did not speak that language therefore could not understand them, the person persisted in still sending them.

I worked it out she wanted to buy a paint brush from my gallery!! I explained the paint brushes were not for sale (she must have understood the nmails in English) because she then preceeded to call me selfish for hoarding paint brushes that she needed (some words were in english, but I had to use a translater for the rest).

In the end it was getting too bizarre and I blocked her.

I got a neomail today for one of my trades.. in Portuguese. I was like o_0. I read it and then said 'I can understand you but it's very hard so can you please speak in English?' and they said:
'I don't speak English, how can you understand me if you don't speak Portuguese, and what will you take for your trade item?' All in correct grammar and spelling lol.

I actually had that happen like a week or so ago. This person neomailed me about my trade. Luckily, my mom is fluent.
