Well, my computer has some sort of weird cookie on it that gives the computer innapropriate popups and ads. For some reason, my father always blames me for it. One time it was, but I didn't know any better and have done nothing wrong since. Yet, he's already banned me from one site because he thinks I'm doing it on that site. And now that we have a weird cookie again, like I said before, I will most likely be blamed for it and banned from this site. I'm not sure, but if I mysteriously leave and never return, this is a head's up. ;)

Download Spyware Balster, it keeps things like that from even getting on your computer, and Mozilla Firefox helps also along with adaware its a combination of things.

I get a weird cookie thing from PPT (it doesn't do anything but it still shouldn't be there), but if you run Ad-Aware it gets rid of it. Tell your dad to get Ad-Aware and bam, problem solved! Don't leave because of something so stupid. That and you're too cool to leave. ^_^

Just change the coding in the cookie and save it back, it wont get replaced and will be unable to send back information.

Did you get one that underlines things like 'movies', 'cars', or 'job' in green and linked them to some other site?

Dawn I know what you should do so we don't have to see you leave. Get a pop up blocker. I downloaded Goggle search bar and I've never seen a pop up since. (299 pop ups blocked so far).
