o.o What was the point of the board?

If you're talking about the Free iPod for signing up for an offer and referring 5 or whatever friends to sign up for an offer, it's not a scam. o.o I got a 10 GB iPod from it. :P

You obviously got scammed, I got a 40gb ipod and an ipod shuffle for referring 10 friends.

I'd do that to get the iPod, then sell it. Then do it again. Then sell it.

Or burn them, seeing as they're iPods/Apple made. :evil:

:P All you have to do is make sure you cancel the offers you signed up for after you get the item. :P I also got $450 PayPal credit this way. Believe it or not, the company who does the free iPod, Nintendo DS, etc. make money. xD
