Unable to avoid the temptation, I spent all my plot prizes. I got:

Ylanas Blaster, Melting Test Station Background, Resistance Honor Badge, How to Break Codes and Influence Plot Events, The Art of Grundo Diplomacy, Garoo Elite Patrol Handbook, The Sounds of Vacuum, Duplicate Space Faerie Token Keyring, and Series of Tubes.

All of which are now in my SDB or my closet.

Wow, what a nice surprise to come back to :)

I am really tempted by the robotification thingy, but there are other prizes I'd rather have (books, etc) that I wouldn't have enough points for if I got it. I too will wait for a bit and get more info on weapons and stuff before I use my points.

How awesome. :) I wish I had the points for Ylanas Blaster (about time a decent weapon came up as a plot prize again!) but the prize names and descriptions made me laugh so much I don't even mind. "The Sounds of Vacuum". "How to Break Codes and Influence Plot Events". And my favourite: "Safety first, THEN violence." :roflol:

Edit: I didn't even notice the site theme in my haste to admire my little purple trophy. Yay! Sidebar love. <3

Way to go, TNT. These prizes rawk. :peace:

The singularity items have me in stitches.

As lovely as the robotifier thinamajig is, I have no desire to own a robot pet, so I'm going with Ylana's Blaster instead. :)

Edit: I bought...
Ylanas Blaster
All the books
Resistance HQ background
All three plushies
E-Z brand thing
Yurbot bobblehead
Toothpaste
And a bunch of the other <100 point prizes

Okay, so I must admit I'm surprised at the quickness. Plot ended, what, the 14th? in the news for the 15th/16th? That's slightly over two weeks. :o

And has anyone actually gone through and read the item descriptions closely? They make me :roflol:
Particularly "You really need to read the whole thing six or seven times before you can understand it." and the "Awkward, yes, but your opponents will always think its closer than it really is."

*withholds temptations to buy anything until prices stabilize*

Edit: apparently, I take too long to write, as there've been 3 posts since I started this.

I think my favorite description is "Okay, I rolled a... erm... let me see... carry the three... I think I rolled a Q." for the Code Symbol Dice Set. :roflol:

I have just a little over 49k points and I don't know what I want. So I'm gonna wait a while.

And I so love having my trophy on my lookup. (that's the real reason I do these *nods*)

Ylana's Blaster is working absolutely lovely-ly for me against the Inflatable Balthazar. Goes nicely with Ramtor's Spellbook.

This reminded me I still hadn't used my Journey to the Lost Isle points :P.

Plot prizes always have great descriptions, just reading them is one of the plot's rewards. I liked the Singrowlarity Singularity Farm especially.

Not liking the look of the robot Shoyru, I bought two of the blasters and am saving the rest of my points for a while.
I like the look of the blaster, I'm taking the tiny, tiny downgrade from my Bow of Destiny for a tidy profit on the Bow. If everything sells well I might finally buy myself a H4000 helmet.

As nice as the Robotification thing is, no.

I got me:

Ylanas Blaster
Miniature Gorix Spaceship
Garoo Elite Patrol Handbook
Code Symbol Dice Set x3
The Sounds of Vacuum
Duplicate Space Faerie Token Keyring
Series of Tubes x3
Leftover Scrap Metal x3

Might as well spend the lot, can't do much else with it.

Does anyone remember how much plot books go for in the long run? I have just over 9,000 points left, which is enough for a couple more books that I could horde for a couple years. There are a couple other things that could spark my interest, but I'm not all that into the wearables, and the toys probably won't fetch as much money, as they don't disappear like the books do.

Most plot books will eventually go for high prices in the long run, especially the ones that cost more points.

If I remember correctly, I bought a book on the TP (either from the first Altador Cup or from CG) for somewhere between 100k and 200k (I bought one of the cheapest on the TP) -- it looks like the Altador Cup one is still going for about the same price (maybe 115-125k). I hope I didn't buy the CG book I have in my inventory for that much -- it's only going for 11,800! (It's special, not retired, so I'm thinking it was the Altador Cup one).

By the way, thanks for asking!:
Dr. Sloth appears and hands you a Elephante Transmogrification Potion!!!

I just thought of something: No matter what I get, I'll end up with a bunch of the smaller ones which will bump me over for pack rat... Yay for random prizes...lol

I'm definately going to wait a while to choose though. Right now, I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the descriptions. :)
