I don't know if this has already been noted or not...but at the bottom of the News page, under the coming soon section, there is a note which says "A Mysterious Voyage Continues".

As the Altador Cup just started, its easy to assume they've just put the plot on hold to get the cup up and running. But that's just my observation.

That has been brought up before in this thread - unfortunately that doesn't really tell us anything, it has been like that since the start of the plot.

But it seems that the plot is on hold 'til after the cup and then we will get part 2.

I think the giant bugs have eaten my link to the maze. Every time I go back to the link to the ship to go to the maze it tells me that there is an error and that page does not exist!!!! EEEEEKKKK!

That's because the plot is either (A) closed or (B) going to be continued after the Altador Cup. Sorry, there's nothing you can do.

P.S. Please don't anyone hang me or anything like that, because I'm sure I'm alone in this, but I can't wait for the Altador Cup to be over. For some reason, I just plain suck at it. Ok enough of me ranting about that...that's a subject for another forum!

You should be able to still do the plot, but the monsters have been taken out and you can no longer fight them.

Nope, the whole plot is closed (hopefully just until the Cup ends)

Yeah that'd be stupid considering that Altador plot is still alive after almost a year now..

I imagine its simply a matter of priority. The altador plot is a background thing that I believe TNT said will remain open indefinitely. The Mysterious Voyage plot isn't, nor is the Altador cup. It only makes sense that they pause one to ensure that everyone has time to complete both if they so wish to participate

If one plot is going on pause for a bit...why wouldn't it be mentioned somewhere? I dunno, but to me that would make sense, rather then possibly causing panic because people find out that all their maze has disappeared?

TNT don't lead us by the hand - they like us to figure things out for ourselves......or at least they like reading our ever increasing mad theories on the plot. I also think that not knowing every single thing about a plot allows us more fun and freedom to explore it - just imagine being told in the news that a clue is up or that the plot closes on a particular day - it would take all the things away that actually make a plot what it is - an interactive story that we must figure out.

But for most of us that have done a few plots, it does seem to be 'unfinished' with storyline and any credible outcome.

TNT have always said that each plot is run differently and so far that has been right.

I guess I'm on the same boat (no pun intended) as quite a few people on this thread, it was Thundering and Lightning at my House when the Petpet Hoards came out to play and I never got to finish the Maze. For once it wasn't my fault that I missed something - I had been coming on every few days to see if there had been an Update and it usually coincided with an actual update luckily, meh.

Re-Built the boat after getting completely lost in the Maze and had to Map myself out after discovering I was going in Circles... ah well. I'm just happy I managed to find my way out as getting lost in this type of Maze is my speciality - I got lost several times in the Lost Desert Plot (and discovered the Room I was looking for was the last Room I needed to Map... XD) and it continued from there. -shrugs-

Hopefully, the "The End?" is a hint that the Plot wasn't over as I found the ending abrupt and lacking in that usually special thing that makes Neopet Plots fun. But it wouldn't be the first Plot to end like that so I wouldn't be surprised either way - but like I said, hopefully they're just messing with us. I love it when they do that. XP Even if it is ually less obvious.

Given that mad guy with the diary says that he thinks the evil petpetpets will come and get him, I'd imagine some kind of evil king-kong esque monster finding it's way to civilisation.
