Wow, I haven't logged onto neopets in weeks and on a whim I check my pets (which are starving) look at the news and... PLOT! Click the map... woo! Do a few searches, check the source code for clues, click around a little bit... nothing, nothing... then my next reaction is... check PPT for plot stuff ...

There were also a lot of articles inmagazines & newspapers about neopets that year.

Funny... the domain name "ihateneopets.com" is owned by neopets.

I guess because "The Neopets Team" sounds kind of small and of a limited scope.
"Neostudios" sounds bigger and more creative. "studio" makes you think of artists. It makes me think of ILM or movie FX studios, which do a lot of work with 3D and new technology.

If I had to guess, I would bet that there will be little to no attention to the older parts of the site, including fixing problems with items, old game glitches, or updating art on the older games, including the "multiplayer" games that tend to run themselves like plushie tycoon, the kacheekers ...

Well... he looks like an edwardian gentleman - I guess because of the dark coat and high collar. And because of the slight lean, he appears to be walking toward the viewer, or leanign in toward the viewer. The background is so grainy and indistinguishable, it makes me think he is somewhere dark ...

They must have gotten a lot of feedback from the little zork/colossol cave homages that were in the last couple plots. It's kind of funny because you have one gorup of people saying "OMG it's not 3D" and another group of people saying "OMG you can't type XYZZY!"

Actually - I have yet to see any clothing that is not part of another paint brush set yet, so maybe clothing from uni's clothing boutique isn't going to be all that useful in any case.

I kjnow a lot of these are advent calendar items, so they should be cheap. The folks who write the item descriptions seem to get a bit sillier with the advent calendar items.

It's significant if you collect lenny items or potions, which I do.

My point was that they didn't use the updated potion template on the brand new potions. They screwed up, or just didn't realize it.

Odd, that they used the OLD Lenny Morphing Potion templates for the three new morphing potions. The newer images have the updated beak, like so:
