How to Make a Clay Geb
Written by Swimbike

You will need
- Clay (Available at craft and hobby stores).
- A tool to make details with (Like a toothpick, an unwound paper clip, etc.).
- Paint, if you don't have pre-colored clay.
- A clean hard surface, like a tabletop.
- Your imagination (Okay, now I sound like Barney).

Step 1
Knead your clay in your hands so it softens. This will make it much easier to work with.

Take two small balls of clay and shape them to be ovals. See the picture if you don't know what I mean. These will be your Geb's feet. Set these aside for now.

Step 2
Take a bigger ball to be your Geb's body and head. Smooth it out.

Step 3
Flatten the bottom of it, like so.

Step 4
Now give it the pyramid shape. First, give it the top point. Then, square it out and give it the four sides. It should turn out something like this.

Step 5
Now gently push the feet onto the flat bottom.

Step 6
Now take two small pieces of clay and shape them to be a teardrop shape, like this. These will be it's hands.

Step 7
Gently smooth the top (the pointy end) of these onto two opposite ends.

Step 8
Now take your details tool and give your Geb eyes and a mouth. Also use it to give your Geb fingers.

Step 9
Add any other touches you would like your Geb to have, such as a bow, a hat, or a flower. Since at the time of writing, it is close to St. Patrick's Day, mine is holding a Shamrock.
