Everyone who's ever drawn something knows this is true, you're just sitting there, mindlessly bored and doodling a little, and some annoying little yapper comes along and goes "Oh, that's so cool! Can you draw me something?"

That my dear readers, is exactly how this piece of art came into this world.

My sister and I were sitting in our car, waiting for a friend to get off work. As I've never been to his place of business, I allowed 45 minutes for us to get lost and found again, of course it only took us roughly ten minutes to get confused, take a wild guess turn, which was oddly enough the correct turn. Having 30 minutes to now sit in the car bored to tears, she picks up the directions I printed out, folds it into quarters, and starts to draw a little mouse. I watch her in boredom and earnest before I remember the lack of art being showcased in Pink Ink. Babbling and sounding just like the annoying little yapper above I begged her to give it a funny little tagline. Which, of course is always funnier in the moment.

It kept us busy for the time we were waiting, and it gave me four different pieces of art to publish. Of course she gave permission, I explained how it worked. [read: babbled that I needed it for a online newspaper and can I please please please post it.]

So without further adieu, I present, the 20 second sketch of a mouse.

Ashley is not a member of PPT, much less Pink Ink. She is a 2003 high school graduate who spends 90% of her time out at a horse ranch. In the other 10% of her time her sister bugs her to draw.

Nessa has no actual artistic talent and tries to prove it every once in a while, no deaths have been reported at this time, however several trips to the hospital were required.
