Wizzle was a confectioner of unknown species introduced on August 8, 2001, from the Gallery of Evil entry of the Jelly Chia. Many years ago, he wanted to become famous and rich by creating an "edible friend", which was a pet which would act as someone's friend until they decided to eat it. One of his first experiments was the Jelly Chia, which he looked after, read stories to, and educated about Neopia until Wizzle became hungry. When he was about to eat the Jelly Chia, it realized what was about to happen and launched itself at Wizzle, enveloping and dissolving him. It's said that Neopians can still see the Jelly Chia within the old chocolate factory, and hear the screams of Wizzle, though they are warned to never go inside.
