Yes, having the category is good but it's better to have the content for the section. Also, be sure you sign your posts on talk pages when you post on them. Generally we use two dashes and either three, four, or five (usually four) [[wikipedia:tilde#Other_uses|tildes]] and the system will create a signature for you.
