A Tyrannian Acara, Tyrannian Krawk, and Tyrannian Lupe

Tyrannian is one of the many colours that users can paint their Neopets and Petpets. The Tyrannian colour is closely associated with Tyrannia. Tyrannian pets resemble prehistoric creatures.

The Tyrannian colour for Neopets was released on January 7, 2001. Users can change the colour of their Neopets to Tyrannian by using a Tyrannian Paint Brush item at the Rainbow Pool, most often found by using the Wheel of Monotony. In addition, the Lab Ray also has a random chance of turning the colour of a user's Neopet to Tyrannian. Users also have the choice of changing their Neopet's colour to Tyrannian when they complete a Fountain Faerie Quest. Lastly, a Neopet's colour can be changed to Tyrannian by using an appropriate Morphing Potion.

The Tyrannian colour for Petpets was released on May 10, 2002. Petpets can be painted Tyrannian by using the Tyrannian Petpet Paint Brush item at the Petpet Puddle. In addition, the Petpet Lab Ray also has a random chance of turning the colour of a user's Petpet to Tyrannian.
