The Tanamurx is a type of Petpet that can only been obtained by a lucky zap from the Petpet Lab Ray. It is a pink bug-like Petpet that has three pupils in each eye. Because Petpets that have been zapped by the Petpet Lab Ray revert back to their original form when removed from their Neopet, the Tanamurx can not be placed in a user's inventory and thus cannot be sold or traded.
Like many of the other Lab Ray exclusive Petpets, the Tanamurx appeared in an image during the Missing Petpets mini-event several years before the Petpet Lab Ray was released.
