The "Return" of the plot

As of January 29, 2008, it appears the plot is finally happening. Don't know if it will be a rewrite of the intended plot, or the same plot with just updated bits. All will be revealed soon. For now, we at least have the first chapter. Suppose that means the beginning of a plot summary can be had. ;P --Jacob 02:16, 29 Jan 2008 (UTC)

Gorix

I've got to get to Grundo's Cafe, but the only way to get there without being seen is through these maintenance tunnels. I'll have to use this control panel to set up the gravity generators and pressure doors before I try to get through here, or I might fall out an airlock!

Gorix

That was easy... but this place looks a little more complicated. Hey, is that some kind of robot over there? I better be careful, even maintenance robots on this station can be deadly... for some reason.

Gorix

These maintenance tunnels are getting ridiculous! It's like they were designed by some kind of sadistic mastermind, intent on preventing maintenance from being accomplished easily or safely. Oh, well, I'll give it a shot.

Gorix

Good grief, how many more of these maintenance tunnels can there be?

Gorix

This had better be the last one! At this rate, Grundo's Cafe will be closed by the time I get there.

Finally, I made it out of there! Now to meet up with my contact...

Step Two

We're going to have to figure out where they're keeping the Scout--

And my family! I know! Maybe if we hack into the station's computer system, we can snoop on their communications?

That sounds kinda tricky... they're probably using military-grade encryption. But let's give it a shot...

We've got it! They're putting all the civilians onto transport shuttles.

Cylara

That must be where my family is! We've got to go rescue them!

The Cybunny scout is there, too. She's the priority. Now get going, before it's too late!

Cylara

We have to be careful moving through this cargo bay. If those Garoo Elites see us, we're doomed!

Gorix

If we can sneak up right next to them, I bet we can knock them unconscious before they see us!

When was this put up? Just a day or two after people began to circulate the program which helped people calculate the answers? It certainly is neat to see them be proactive against the use of such things. --Jacob 04:58, 8 Feb 2008 (UTC)

Luckily I have a history (+ screenshot) recorded by Google... The warning was put up a day after the puzzle was released, somewhere between 6th February 1am NST(when I grabbed all remaining data for offline calculations) and 6th February 7pm NST. --SwordFire 16:08, 9 Feb 2008 (UTC)

Dropping participation due to difficulty?

Is anyone else having difficulty with the second puzzle? the message decoding? I certainly am, and I'm pretty much wanting to drop the plot now...which basically means I won't be able to complete the rest of the puzzles, because they must be completed in order (at least these ones). That also may mean I won't be able to see what these steps are like. as an admin of the NeoDex, who prides himself with wanting to know as much info as I can...I find this a little infuriating. :S Still, will keep it level and accept I won't be able to finish this part of the plot. Will need to rely on others much more with the info I don't know. *sigh* --Jacob 06:44, 8 Feb 2008 (UTC)
