I really don't think we need an article for Chocolate. If we did, we would need to organize everything there was about chocolate on Neopets...and we are not going to do that. On the chocolate colour, we could have a section about it and other exclusive lab ray colours (which also don't have a main article) and a future main article for the secret laboratory, and have all "chocolate colour" links go there, but as an official article? I don't think ti would work. --Jacob 00:37, 14 Jul 2007 (UTC)

Ok, go ahead.--Demon 00:39, 14 Jul 2007 (UTC)
I'm kind of sad you want to delete the article after I worked so hard on it. Finding all the petpet information wasn't that easy you know! :P But if you guys really think it doesn't belong here, then go ahead and delete it. Then again, maybe it's just under the wrong title? Would changing the name of the article to something like Chocolate (colour) be more appropriate?--Emeraldosprey
Look at the dates on the responses... The Talk page must have still been around even though they deleted the article, so when you created it again, the talk was still there. I'd like to add that I told someone recently... thought it was you... that I have all the petpet release dates up to early 2006 on a google document... so if you want to see it, there's a link on my page. I'm still working on it but it should save you a lot of time. I would say, go ahead and list the petpets for now and don't worry about the dates until later unless they're already on the list. It will save you a ton of time. You are using neoitems for the lists of petpets, right? --Cath 22:28, 19 Jun 2008 (CDT)
The Chocolate petpets are NOT on neoitems.net since they aren't technically items. After some heavy googling I found a pet page with a list of chocolate petpets and then confirmed the information on this list by crosschecking it with the news. And apparently you DID tell me you had a list of petpet dates. Hrm, I wish I had noticed that earlier. :/--Emeraldosprey

As a staff member of neoitems I assure you that the chocolate petpets ARE on the site... they just are NOT active... You have to search in the "all items" or "unobtainable" lists rather than the actve list. Chocolate Petpets The same is true for Jelly, Strawberry, and Gold petpets. --Cath 07:58, 20 Jun 2008 (CDT)

Well now I feel really silly. :P I guess I spent a lot of un-needed extra time on this article. How embarassing. :( --Emeraldosprey
Don't feel too bad. :) It takes time to really get to know all of the tools at your disposal. Now you know, so you can save yourself the time in the future. --Cath 09:13, 20 Jun 2008 (CDT)

Dates[edit]

This has come up before but can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE set a date format? Most of the older articles are January 1, 2005... Now we are adding "st"s and "rd"s and "nd"s? Please? One way to do it that is standard for the entire site. --Cath 17:57, 19 Jun 2008 (CDT)

To be honest, I wasn't even thinking about it when I started typing the "st"s, "rd"s, and "nd"s. I can easily go back and fix that. However, I also agree that it would be nice to have a standard for the date format. --Emeraldosprey
I just couldn't keep my eyes off the Neodex. :D We can either use American date (June 20, 2008) or British date (20 June 2008). If you're using one of the date format in an article, please make sure you keep that date format throughout the article. "st", "nd" and "rd" are not required, although I did use them on edit summaries (my habit...). Please refer to the policy. --SwordFire ( talk | contrib ) 06:01, 20 Jun 2008 (CDT)
