The Poogle (from poodle, a breed of dog) is a Limited Edition species of puppy-like Neopet that was introduced on July 14, 2000. Poogle has a cute and cuddly appearance but also razor-sharp teeth. The originally come from the north of Neopia. In general, Poogle is curious, playful, friendly, and eager to learn. She enjoys reading and racing - Poogle Races are held every fifteen minutes in Faerieland.
She is the only Neopet that can be painted MSP. When painted Halloween, they resemble Snowbeasts, and when painted Maraquan, they resembled hammerhead sharks. In the Neopets Trading Card Game, she is associated with the element of Water.
