The Poogle (from poodle, a breed of dog) is a Limited Edition species of puppy-like Neopet that was introduced on July 14, 2000. Poogles have a cute and cuddly appearance but also razor-sharp teeth. The originally come from the north of Neopia. In general, Poogles are curious, playful, friendly, and eager to learn. They enjoy reading and racing - Poogle Races are held ever fifteen minutes in Faerieland.

In the Neopets Trading Card Game, they are associated with the element of Water. They are the only Neopet that can be painted MSP.

Battledome

In the Battledome, Poogles take 10% less damage from earth and fire attacks. They also have six species abilities:
