The Lyins is a Desert Petpet released on June 26, 2001. It lives under the sand of the Lost Desert. It enjoys burrowing for tasty treats and its hard shell protects it from predators.

• A White Lyins can be found in Neopets' image database. However, it is still drawn in the Lyins' old style, meaning that if it gets released, it will first be redrawn.
