A Blobikins

The Blobikins (also known as Jelly Blob and Gelatinous Non-Cube) is a Desert Petpet. It was announced on July 4, 2007, in the "secret" news.

History

The creature known as the blobikin first appeared in the Lost Desert Plot sometime after August 30, 2005. It was one of the six different traps people could encounter in the Temple of 1,000 tombs when entering the wrong door. It later also held the second crystal.

A slightly different version appeared in the Altador Plot. When entering the Restive Tomb on April 27, 2006, users would encounter an angry, mummified Gelatinous Non-Cube that was roaming around the tomb. The item Mummy Bandages, needed to help the sick Vaeolus, had to be stolen from it.

It seems that the Blobikins mostly resembles the Jelly Blob from the Lost Desert Plot, because of the lack of bandage, but when they were announced in the news, they were called Gelatinous Non-Cubes.

Colours

As of February 2009, the Blobikins can come in two colours.

Trivia

  • The How To Draw tutorial for the Blobikins was released on December 1, 2007.
