Alshemar of the Seventh Scroll is a bearded Ogrin and a powerful wizard. He was introduced during the War for the Obelisk plot and is one of the challengers that can be fought at the Battleground of the Obelisk, fighting on behalf of the Order of the Red Erisim. Alshmar wears a red robe with gold embroidery and a matching red pointed hat. He uses long staff that is topped with a purple jewel to cast his spells.
Alshemar was Rasala's teacher before she became the head of the order. She still sometimes receives advice and encouragement from him. He is also a talented potion maker.
