Shortly after the [[Destruction of Maraqua|destruction of Maraqua]], all of these Swirly Petpets were converted into Sproings. Petpets that were attached to a [[Neopet]] during this conversion were not effected by the change. This means that there are still a few users that have a Swirly attached to one of their Neopets. Swirly
During the time of Old Maraqua, there was snail-like species of Petpet known as the Swirly. Shortly after the destruction of Maraqua, all of these Swirly Petpets were converted into Sproings. Petpets that were attached to a Neopet during this conversion were not effected by the change. This means that there are still a few users that have a Swirly attached to one of their Neopets. Whenever one of these remaining Swirly Petpets is removed from its Neopet, it is immediately converted into a Sproing.
