Nigel is the Commodity Broker Chia, a successful stock broker on the Neopian Stock Market. He always charges a 20 NP fee for every selling of stock that you own. He sometimes appears as a random event and recommends a stock to buy. However, whether or not to follow this "tip" is up for the user to decide.

Trivia
Some early art on the Neopets Stock Market page (http://www.neopets.com/stockmarket.phtml) showed Nigel in a red (Ferrari) sports car, though the Editorial (http://www.neopets.com/ntimes/index.phtml?section=editorial&issue=300) in Neopian Times issue 300, claims that there are no cars in Neopia.
