The '''Battledome''' is the place where a user's [[Neopet]] can fight against other Neopets and other opponents. Only pets with at least one [[HP|hit point]] and that are not hungry or sick may battle. Fights may be [[1-Player Challengers|one-player]] - against challengers that are unlocked as [[Random Event]]s - or two-player -
against the pets of other players.

Battling is a very popular activity on the [[Neopets]] site, and the most powerful battle equipment can cost millions of [[Neopoint]]s to purchase. There is a full [[NeoBoard]] section dedicated to the past time, and it is a common theme for [[Guild]]s. Frequently, [[plot]]s require participation via the Battledome - although less so in recent years - and it is not uncommon for two similarly trained [[Neopet]]s to act as ''battledome partners'', being used by the two owners to try out different weapons and techniques.

==Overview==

Battledoming is a turn-by-turn based affair. In each round both players may use up to two [[item]]s and choose a stance or ability - with the exception of a Neopet who has run out of [[Battledome Equipment|weapons]], power to use [[abilities]], or has been [[frozen]].

After both players have made their move - in two player matches, there is often a delay while one user waits for the other to complete - details of the round are shown, illustrating the weapons each player used and their effects, their abilities, and the total damage performed to and healed from either pet.

Attack damage is gauged in 'icons': a more powerful attack is indicated by a greater number of icons. Icons come in seven varieties - Air, Darkness, Earth, Fire, Light, Physical, and Water - each represented by a different symbol. Certain armaments may also defend against specific types of icons should they be used during a turn it is used in. Certain weapons may also ''reflect'' a portion of the icons used against you back at the opponent.

Certain items may also have additional effects to damage and defence, such as being able to generate specific items within the battle, steal an opponent's weapon for the duration of the match, heal the user - or in rare cases, the opponent - inflict an illness, or be usable only by a select species. There are a few extremely rare items that can permanently remove statistics, alter an opponent's [[Petpet]], delete weapons permanently, or change the opponent's species, colour, or gender. Some weapons will defend against 100% of a type of icon used against you, instead of a specific number of icons.

Many weapons have a ''variable'' attack, where a few additional icons may be inflicted. Items also have varying reliability in the Battledome. Certain items can be used repeatedly throughout the rounds (''Multiple Use''), whereas others may break randomly - or in response to a specific stimulus - either for the duration of the battle (''Semi-fragile'') or permanently (''Fragile''). Others may be used only once (''Single Use'') or once in a battle (''Once per battle'') - these are often referred to as ''bombs'' if they have a high attack.

Some attacks may ''freeze'' an opponent for a round (or in rare cases, several) during which they cannot attack or defend, but can be attacked.

==Battledome Arenas==
There are a total of 7 different arenas to fight in (the normal Battledome, the Stone dome, the Ice arena, the [[Mystery Island|Island]] arena, the Space arena, the Water arena - which was removed after the destruction of [[Maraqua]] but returned with the [[Curse of Maraqua]] plot - and the [[Tyrannia]]n arena), though the only differences in battle it makes are the colour schemes of each individual Battledome. ::I am aware the Dung Faerie is part of the Rubbish Dump, and not a full on joke, but to have no references to her besides that seems very bizarre. Again, i don't know much of the dung faerie, so i don't know what to add to the article. Perhaps she's like Jelly World, and denied existence on an even wider scale?

'''Go! Go! Go!''' is a [[Games Room#Card Games|Card Game]] released on April 11, 2001. Cost to play is 50 [[Neopoints]]. The goal of the game is to clear your cards before the opponents.

==How to play==
To begin the game, each player is dealt 9 cards. Three cards in your hand, 3 cards in your Face Ups and 3 cards in your Face Downs. The remaining cards are placed in the Draw Pile.

On your turn, you must play a card that is equal to or higher than the card that is on top of the Stack Pile. You may play multiple cards during your turn, but only if the card ranks match (ie: you can play 3 sixes). You must have at least 3 cards in your hand at all times as long as there are cards in the Draw Pile. If you play 2 fives on one play, then you are given 2 cards from the Draw Pile so that you have 3 cards in your hand. This continues as long as there are cards to draw from. Once the Draw Pile is empty, play continues as normal except that you do not have to draw any cards after your play. If it is your turn and you can not make a legal play, then you must pick up all of the cards in the Stack Pile and the turn moves to the next player.

You can not play from your Face Up cards until the Draw Pile is empty and you have played all of the cards in your hand. Once you have reached this point, you may play a card from your Face Up cards. All of the same game rules still apply, although you can only play one card at a time from your Face Up and Face Down cards. If it is your turn and you can not make a play from your Face Up cards, then the lowest card in your Face Ups is placed on the Stack Pile and the Stack Pile is then given to you. If this happens, you will not be able to play from your Face Ups again until you have finished playing the cards that are now in your hand.

Once you have finally played all of your Face Up cards, you can begin to play from your Face Downs. The tricky part is that you do not get to see what the card is. You have to blindly play the card and hope that it is a legal play. If the card that you pick is not a legal play, then you have to pick up the entire Stack Pile and begin playing from your hand again. You can not begin playing from your Face Downs until you have finished playing all of the cards that are now in your hand!

The game continues until there is only one player left with cards in their hand. They are the loser. If that happens to be you, then you do not win anything! If you are lucky enough to get rid of your cards before all of the other players in that round, then you not only win some Neopoints, but you also get to advance to the next round of players. If you are only able to beat one or two of the players in a round, then you do not get to advance to the next round since you did not actually beat all of the players, but you will still get Neopoints for winning.

There are a few special moves and cards that you must know about before playing.

*Clearing The Pile: If you are able to play 4 cards of the same rank, then the Stack Pile is cleared and you get to have another turn. The same applies if you complete a set that is on top of the Stack Pile. For instance, if the top 2 cards on the Stack Pile are sevens, and you play 2 sevens on top of those, then the Stack Pile is cleared and you get another go!
*Two's are wild cards, and can be played on top of any other card EXCEPT for a three!
*If a Three is the top card, then the next player must play an odd valued card (3, 5, 7, 9, Jack or King).
*If a Four is the top card, then the next player must play an even valued card (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, Queen or Ace).
*If a Ten is played, then the Stack Pile is cleared and you get to go again!

The prizes awarded are usually the same for all visitors, although occasional variation from this trend has occurred in the past.

Known to most Neopians as the ''Meerca Brothers'', they have now cut all ties with Malkus Vile and have struck out on their own. Generally, Merouladen wears a blue cap while Heermeedjet wears a red one and is never without his trusty goggles.

You most probably didn't know this, but a long time ago, when [[King Skarl]] was young, some unwelcome visitors came a-knocking on Castle [[Meridell]]'s walls. Evil, twisted, mutated creatures with wings, hooves and other spiky bits flew down from above intent on turning the pleasant land of Meridell into a smoking crater.

Of course, the invaders were defeated, by the help of the villagers who took up arms to fend them away. Now you get the chance to recreate this historic battle by playing '''Invasion of Meridell - 300 BN'''. Control the good guys, and defeat the bad guys, and win a nice [[trophy]] for your [[User Lookup]]. You may win the battle, but can you win the war?

Fearing she was the cause of the troubles, Caylis was treated as an outcast and banished from Maraqua, becoming a cynic in the loneliness of the ocean. Although her demeanour seems dark, her heart is pure, and eventually stepped in and became instrumental in the battle against [[Captain Scarblade]] and his pirate forces in [[Curse of Maraqua]]. She came to be appreciated by the Maraquan community but opted to live alone elsewhere.

Inside the palace, both Caylis and Garin were taken before the King. After Garin warned the King, he turned to Caylis and asked what she had to do with the pirate’s visit. Caylis angrily replied that she even though she tried to help, she was only treated unfairly. She also pointed out that [[King Kelpbeard]] would never listen to an outsider, even if they were telling the truth. Kelpbeard had her thrown out of the city, this time with her sister, Isca, who had also been banished as punishment for harbouring a surface dweller.

Outside the city, Caylis watched with her sister as Scarblade begun his attack on Maraqua. Isca tried to convince Caylis to help in battle, but Caylis retorted that not only would they be killed trying, the Maraquans would deserve their fate for banishing them. Eventually, Garin found both the sisters. Both Garin and Isca agreed that they have to help, but Caylis reminded them that three people can not do much good against an army. All of a sudden, [[Goregas]], Isca's pet arrived, having been called much earlier in the story. Isca optimistically told Caylis that the odds were a little better, who observed that the Maraquans were losing, and that they had better do something quickly, if anything at all.

[[Jacques]] and the [[Black Pawkeet]]’s crew arrived at that moment. Caylis stopped Garin charging into the fray, insisting on devising a plan first. Her sister agreed, and she formulated one.

Caylis was to take a message to the inside of the city, using secret passages, but she declined Isca’s task, saying Isca should do her own dirty work. Jacques took up the task instead, and Caylis remained stubbornly stationary as the rest swam into battle.

Jacques becomes lost in the tunnels, and although she had refused her sister, swam into the tunnels to help Jacques out. She and Jacques entered the city and contacted [[Swordmaster Talek]], explaining Isca's plan. Talek offered Caylis a sword before they go into battle, but she declined - summoning the blue glow of her magic, she uttered, "I have something more powerful than that sword.".

Thanks to Caylis' magical intervention, the pirates become easy targets for Jacques and the Maraquan forces. The forces of the Maraquan Army and Garin’s crew trapped the pirates inside the main gate of the city, and while Scarblade duelled against Kelpbeard, they were easily captured.

After the war is won, Kelpbeard apologises to Caylis and lifted her banishment. While invited to return, Caylis decided to remain outside of the city - the city life was not for her.

As [[Reginald]] escaped with [[Sophie]] into the Haunted Woods while the whole of Neovia attacked their home, they came upon Ilere, who said there was no other safe place in the Haunted Woods for Sophie than with her. Sophie said she felt safe with her, so Reiginald allowed Ilere to take her. Ilere guided Sophie to an old shack filled with the tools she needed to survive, and left Sophie there.

10 years later, Sophie visits Ilere's home and asks her help for finding the [[Spirit of Slumber]], to which Ilere called them mad and said the Spirit of Slumber was far too powerful, and told them to leave before they got hurt. [[Bruno]] then attacked Ilere in a rage, and while she defended herself with her magic Bruno got the upper hand. Before anything more developed, Sophie threw Ilere and Bruno apart with her magic. In Meridell during this time, Lord Darigan had surfaced. He had lost almost all his memories and was completely mad, stalking farmer's fields as ''The Bat-Thing'', until he took up lodging for a short while in a barn, fed by a little [[Usul]] girl.

This invasion was more effective that the previous as Lord Kass used the powers of his enchantress [[Morguss]] to first stop King Skarl ordering the defence of his border (by enchanting him with the dance of Morguss's daughter) and possessing Meridell's own peasants to fight what little forces had been sent to the front. [[Kayla]]'s own magical efforts allowed, once Skarl had been disenchanted, an effective Meridell counterattack to Kass's large war machines.

During this time, the farm Lord Darigan had taken as his housing was raided, and when he fought off several soldiers to protect the Usul that had helped him, the guards' reactions prompted him to remember who he was, and he flew off to the Citadel, silhouetted by the moon.

A second counterattack, lead by Jeran, attacked the Citadel itself from the air. However, this sneak attack was met by a well prepared Lord Kass, and despite their only being a skeleton force on the Citadel itself, the attack quickly dispatched, Jeran himself plunging over the side of the floating fortress. Lord Darigan arrived shortly after, to Lord Kass' horror, and they sparred, Lord Kass determined to fix the "mistake" of Lord Darigan being left alive, but Lord Darigan won over and Kass fell to the floor, where his amulet smashed and [[The Three]] stole him away for his failure.

Click on the '''Go!''' button with your mouse pointer as many times as you can to make Ace run faster. However, advertisements will pop up and prevent you from clicking. Close and move them out of the way to continue clicking the '''Go!''' button unhindered. Each round you complete in the game will earn you a 50 point bonus to your total. if you want more detail follow this game guide.

Hmmm... Advert attack... if you don't know what advert means, it means Advertise Attack :D. Anyway, this game is quite easy. It's a race between you, Ace Zafara, and the computer! Ace Zafara is trying to race a robot to the finish line. However, since this game is so popular, Dr. Sloth decided to add popups to it! After all, you can never have too much money for the next invasion.

Controls:
The mouse is the only thing you need to play this game. It is used to close the pop-ups and to make your spaceship go by clicking on the "Go!" buttons.

Instructions:
To play, all you must do is continuously hit the "GO" buttons that pop up. Each time you press one, Ace Zafara moves up a little towards the finish line in her spaceship. Once you get to level two, ads will start to pop up. Click only on the "X" or "Close" buttons to get rid of them. Clicking anywhere but there will make one more ad pop up.

This game is really frustrating, though. If you hate advertisements then I wouldn't suggest playing. This game might cause a lot of stress as it doesn't give a good amount of Neopoints for all the work you put into it. Each round of the game, more and more pop-ups pop up. This game is great if you have fast mouse skills. The only round that doesn't have pop-ups is the first level. All of the others have pop-ups.

Okay, the first level is easy. No ads! After that, ads appear. Then more ads, then bigger ads, then more, bigger, harder to close ads! And ah, sorry, you can't use those anti-pop-up programs because they won't work!

Some tips: remember to only close ads that are in between you and the "Go" button.

Don't click the actual ads, or else you'll get even more of them; click only the close button!
There are always exactly 30 '"Go" buttons in every single level.
Remember to calm down and don't get so mad when you lose...
And the pop-ups aren't real ones so don't worry

Cheat! Typing the phrase "nopopups" during the game will make all pop-ups on the screen disappear. (Once per game.)
