The '''Cybunny''' is a [[Limited Edition]] [[Neopet]] released on 10 July, 2000. Similar to the real life [[Wikipedia:Rabbit|rabbits]], the majority of Cybunnies live in the colder regions of [[Neopia]]. Their thick white fur not only keeps them warm, but also helps them blend in with the snowy mountainside, easily disguising themselves in the snow. Cybunnies are quick and can disappear in the blink of an eye, love to frolic in the in the winter air. They enjoy a game of [[Snow Wars]], and happiest when there is more than enough food to go around.

Because they are limited edition, Cybunnies are very rare in Neopia. On special occasions more Cybunnies are made available to own, but a user can also use a [[Morphing Potion]], the [[Lab Ray]], or a magical plushie on one of their current Neopets to acquire a one.

In the [[Neopets TCG|Neopets Trading Card Game]], they are associated with the element of Earth.

A '''paint brush''' is a special type of [[item]] that can be used to change the [[colour]] of a [[Neopet]] or [[Petpet]]. The first paint brushes were released on May 9, 2000. Within the [[Neopets]] community, the act of using a paint brush is called "painting". The colour that a Neopet or Petpet becomes after painting depends on which paint brush is used. For example, a ''Blue Paint Brush'' will change the colour of a Neopet to [[Blue]], while a ''Scritchy Sketchy Paint Brush'' will change the colour of a Neopet to [[Sketch]]. Paint brushes disappear after they are used and, as such, each paint brush can only be used once.

Paint brushes are broadly divided into two groups: those that can be used to paint Neopets and those that can be used to paint Petpets. These groups are mutually exclusive; paint brushes intended for Neopets cannot be used on Petpets, and paint brushes intended for Petpets cannot be used on Neopets. Users can determine which group a paint brush belongs to by examining the name of the paint brush. If the paint brush's name contains the word "Petpet", then it can only be used on Petpets. If the paint brush's name does not contain the word "Petpet", then it can only be used on Neopets.

==Obtaining a paint brush==
With the exception of a few select paint brushes that are sold at the [[Hidden Tower]], paint brushes cannot be purchase from official Neopian [[shop]]s. Instead, users must obtain paint brushes by winning them from certain [[game]]s of chance, such as the [[Fruit Machine]] and the [[Alien Aisha Vending Machine]], or by receiving them as part of a [[Random Event]]. Paint brushes are also sometimes available as prizes for participating in [[plot]]s or winning certain [[contest]]s. On top of that, the [[Advent Calendar]] has been known to occasionally give out paint brushes. Users also have a small chance of receiving a paint brush when they redeem a gold key in [[Key Quest]].

Excluding the four ''starter'' paint brushes that are included inside of [[Newbie#Newbie Pack|newbie packs]], all paint brushes are tradable. This means that paint brushes can be purchased from other users using the [[Auction House]], the [[Trading Post]], or user shops. Because the demand for paint brushes within the Neopets economy is so high, users can often sell their paint brushes for tens of thousands or even millions of [[neopoint]]s.

==Using a paint brush==
To use a paint brush on a Neopet, the user must place the paint brush in their [[inventory]] and then travel to the [[The Rainbow Pool|Rainbow Pool]]. At the Rainbow Pool, the user will be shown a picture of each of their Neopets. If the paint brush in the user's inventory can be used on one of displayed Neopets, then a drop down list containing the name of the paint brush will appear below that Neopet. The user must select the paint brush from this drop down box and then click the ''Submit'' button to use the paint brush.

To use a paint brush on a Petpet, the user must first attach the Petpet to one of their Neopets. Next, the user must place the paint brush in their inventory and then travel to the [[The Rainbow Pool#Petpet Puddle|Petpet Puddle]]. At the Petpet Puddle, the user will be shown a picture of each Petpet that is attached to one of their Neopets. *In 2002, during the month of May, [[TNT]] held a [http://www.neopets.com/comps/newpaintbrush.phtml paint brush competition] and let users vote on which paint brush they would like to see next. During the first round of this competition, users could vote for one of three new paint brushes: the Baby Paint Brush, the Tartan Paint Brush, or Mystery Island Paint Brush. The Baby Paint Brush received the most votes during this round and was declared the winner on May 15, 2002. During the second round, users could choose between the Tartan Paint Brush, the Mystery Island Paint Brush, and the Pirate Paint Brush. On May 21, 2002, the Pirate Paint Brush was declared the winner after receiving 194,375 votes. Even though the Mystery Island Paint Brush lost both rounds of the paint brush competition, it would still be revamped and released on June 27, 2002.

The Usul began to receive large attention on June 7, 2001, with the release of [[Usuki Doll]]s and [[Usukiland]], an [[item]] type and [[shop]] which focuses solely on Usul-type items. The Usul can also be painted the ''Usuki'' [[colour]], which is unique to the Usul with the '''Usuki [[Paint Brush]]'''. Because of its affiliation with Usuki, the Usul is to date the most featured Neopet in all of the items in Neopets, with newer Usuki being added every year, including on August 20, the ''Annual Usuki Doll Convention''. The name possibly comes from a mix of "usagi", the japanese word for rabbit, and "squirrel".

==Overview==
As a general rule, Usuls are very friendly and kind and don't hesitate to share their food stores with other Neopets when the cold winter months approach. They also enjoy grooming, and are very proud of being Usuls (the default Usul petpage mentions "Usul Power!" several times). Supposedly, they are fairly gentle, but are probably a force to be reckoned with when they give their best shots in the Battledome. However, there are one or two (ONLY ONE OR TWO!) Usuls who display almost none of these characteristics, like the Shadow Usul.

The '''Lutari''' is an otter-like Neopet, released as a [[limited edition]] Neopet on April 19, 2006. Lutari are alert, friendly Neopets who enjoy playing games outside. They are excellent swimmers and spend much of their time in the water. Lutari get very upset at the thought of being left in the [[Neopian Pound]], and will run away to parts unknown if a user even tries.

The Neopet's release was long awaited as images of the Neopet in its four basic colours as well as [[Island]] have been on the image servers for almost a year. The first time a Lutari was officially seen was at the opening of the Happy Valley Ice Cream shop on December 21, 2004, whose shopkeeper is a Lutari, under the name [[Mr. Chipper]].

With the release of the Lutari, the launch of [[Lutari Island]], a new [[Neopian]] world which is only accessible via mobile phones, occured on June 24, 2006. It was developed by the company ''In-fusio''. A picture of the land has appeared in the [[Neopets Magazine]], and many Lutari Island items have been found on the servers, including two [[petpet]]s.

The '''Kougra''' (a homophone of ''[[wikipedia:cougar|cougar]]'', an [[wikipedia:Americas|American]] [[wikipedia:big cat|big cat]]) is a [[Wikipedia:tiger|tiger]]-like [[Neopet]] introduced August 3, 2000 upon the [http://neopets.com/newfeatures/aug2000.phtml discovery of the 'Mystery Island'] as one of several potential pets. As ''Tiger Cub'' it won the user vote and was released as a pet on August 9, 2000.

Kougras were first discovered in the deep forests of [[Mystery Island]] feasting on the exotic fruits found there. This would seem to indicate that their main [[wikipedia:frugivore|diet]] consists primarily of fruit instead of meat, unlike their real-life counterparts. Kougras have enormous paws that come in handy when they practice pouncing and playing with each other. Although Kougras enjoy to hunt it is mainly done for fun since once they have caught their target, they're never really sure what to do with it.
