'''Malkus Vile''' is a Green [[Skeith]] criminal mastermind. He rarely gets himself involved with the dirty work of his crimes, preferring instead to develop the plans and work through proxy. His most famous henchmen, brown [[Meerca]]s [[Heermeedjet and Merouladen]], were involved in the famous [[The Hunt for the Crown|theft]] of [[King Coltzan III]]'s crown from his [[Coltzan's Shrine|Shrine]], but have since left his employment to strike out on their own.

In the [[Lost Desert]], a crowd gathers to watch the grand unveiling of [[Coltzan's Shrine]]. Princess Vyssa gives a brief speech before revealing, to the shock of onlookers, that the ancient magical crown which was meant to be placed inside the shrine, has disappeared. The only clue is a poorly written note that reads: "Ha Ha! We have stolen your crown Vyassa! U smell and u have a spotty bum."
It is soon discovered that the culprits are the Meerca brothers Heermeejet and Merouladen. Following the trail of their secret meetings and encoded messages, Neopians find a Parrot who has recorded a conversation between Malkus Vile, the plot's mastermind, and Princess Sankara, King Coltzan III's murderer. A coded poem leads to another note hiding the coordinates of the crown.
The crown is found buried in the shores of [[Mystery Island]]. However, Malkus Vile escapes.

These are just a few ways to acquire them.

When certain items are needed for an avatar, it can boost the item's price considerably. Such an example is use of the [[Nerkmid]], making them almost [[unbuyable]] due to the large price. Since January 15, 2003, Boochi has been appearing in a [[Random Event]] in which he changes the [[colour]] of a user's active Neopet to Baby. Also, as of April 16, 2010, Boochi's Random Event no longer affects [[unconverted]] Neopets. A visit from Boochi can be seen as either a positive or negative event, depending on whether a user likes or dislikes the Baby colour.

Boochi is also one of the many [[1-Player Challengers|one-player challengers]] that can be fought in the [[Battledome]]. Users will unlock Boochi in the Battledome after they receive either one of his Random Events.
