'''NeoQuest II''' is a role playing game within [[Neopets]] created by [[Mr. Insane]], sequel to [[NeoQuest I]]. In this version, a new battle system was implemented, along with the use of more party members (a total of 4). It also introduced places to rest, meaning that the player no longer has to respawn in a single location when they die, making the sequel actually easier than the last.

==Plot summary==
Following the same medieval and "in the past" feel, users control the role of Rohane who is presented as the son of a knight in [[Trestin]] of [[Meridell]], but in actuallity is a captain of a spaceship who is stuck in a hologram simulation. While playing, Rohane travels through 4 other lands ([[Terror Mountain]], The [[Lost Desert]], The [[Haunted Woods]], and [[Faerieland]]) meeting his other crew members ([[Mipsy]], [[Talinia]], and [[Velm]]) along the way, who are locked within simulation booths as well. Together, they try to regain control of the hijacked space ship which is heading towards the sun.

===Chapter 1===
[[Ramtor]], [[King Skarl]]'s advisor, takes the throne of [[Meridell]] from him and puts him in his tower's dungeon, and slowly begins to take over the land. In Trestin, Rohane notices this change in the land and decides to head out on an adventure with his Father's sword. Along the way he encounters his shipmate Mipsy and adds her to his party. The two venture together and eventually defeat [[Ramtor]], saving Meridell. [[King Skarl]] thanks Rohane (and presumably Mipsy). However, not long after, it is revealed that Rohane and Mipsy were actually in a simulation. They discover that they have been mysteriously trapped in the simulation booths. They decide to go to the next simulation.

===Chapter 2===
Rohane and Mipsy arrive in [[Terror Mountain]], where the paths across the mountain become clogged with snow, making it difficult to traverse, and monsters are swarming all the passes. After defeating [[Leximp]] and helping a city of [[Chia]]s, they meet [[Talinia]], who joins them. After defeating [[Kolvars]] they eventually come to the [[Snowager]], who was trapped by [[Scuzzy]]. After defeating Scuzzy the [[Snowager]] is released, and he's revealed to be the overseer program and, and the snow the clogged data routes of the space ships computer.

===Chapter 3===
A sandstorm rages in the [[Lost Desert]], and [[Princess Vyssa]] seeks a relic, the Medallion of the Wind, designed to control the weather. First, the group defeats [[Siliclast]] and retrieves the Celestial Talisman, which points to the direction of the Medallion. Then, they defeat [[Gebarn II]] and retrieve the first piece of the Medallion. Then, [[Velm]] joins the group and together, they defeat the Renevant and rescue Lifira, the librarian, and another computer program. Lifira tells the group a password. When the group tells the hermit the password the hermit reveals information about the 2nd piece of the Medallion. After finding the 2nd piece, they defeat [[King Coltzan|Coltzan's Ghost]] who reveals the 3rd and final piece of the Medallion. Then, the group finds a gemstone, which makes the Medallion complete. After that, the group goes to Zakharukh's Pyramid, where the Medallion must be taken for the weather to be restored. As it turns out, the sandstorm was random data, and by removing it the ship's computers are now accessible. The heroes discover that the ship is heading towards a star, and that they must enter the other simulations quickly before the ship's hull melts and they are boiled alive.

Rohane appears in the [[Haunted Woods]], where a spell has been cast on the sun, keeping it stuck in the sky all day long, making it difficult for the residents as ghosts began to live in their houses, and keeing other such creatures in seclusion. Residents of [[Shadow Gulch]] say it was [[Count Von Roo]] who cast the spell on the sun, but it turns out he was trying to cast a counter-spell, and was being held hostage by [[Meuka]]. After they defeated Meuka, the Count explained [[Balthazar]], [[Hubrid Nox]], and the [[Spider Grundo]] worked in collaboration to cast the real spell. After defeating the Spider Grundo, he said that Balthazar casted the spell, but Balthazar said Hubrid Nox casted the spell. So they defeated Hubrid Nox, but he explains that it's actually [[Edna]] who casted the spell.

After defeating the [[Esophagor]] which blocked the path to Edna, Rohane confronted her about the curse, and she said she was trying to keep the sun down, but messed up, possibly from too much ''[[Kadoatie]] Fur''. When asked if she could reverse the spell, she said no and dropped her ruse, revealing herself to one one of the AI in the ship's computer. The spell was meant to slow down the virus, but having got it backwards, the virus was more powerful than ever.

Mipsy then figured out how to access the ships computer through the simulator, and discovered they were not far from the sun, and a new simulation of [[Faerieland]] opened up, which could be seen through the clouds. Taliania noticed there was something wrong with it, and Edna wished them luck, and told them to hurry as there wasn't much time left.

===Chapter 5===
Coming into [[Faerieland]], Rohane and company discovered it was overrun by mercenaries and monsters after The Dark Faeries rebelled. Many of the cloud paths were destroyed, including ''The Bridge of Mist'' by a giant [[Devilpuss]]. Traveling through what remained of the clouds, Rohane defeated the [[Fallen Angel]] and giant Devilpuss on the way to the Faerie City. Once inside, they defeated [[The Faerie Thief]] who was coordinating monster attacks, and learned the Faerie Palace was overrun by the forces of a dragon calling himself [[King Terask]], who had taken the throne from [[Fyora]], the path to which was locked by two [[Pant Devil]]s. They eventually are freed fom their simulation booths after defeating King Terask twice. Then, they manage to steer their ship away from the sun seconds before they would crash into the sun.

'''NeoQuest II''' is a role playing game within [[Neopets]] created by [[Mr. Insane]], sequel to [[NeoQuest I]]. In this version, a new battle system was implemented, along with the use of more party members (a total of 4).

==Plot summary==
Following the same medieval and "in the past" feel, users control the role of Rohane who is presented as the son of a knight in [[Trestin]] of [[Meridell]], but in actuallity is a captain of a spaceship who is stuck in a hologram simulation. While playing, Rohane travels through 4 other lands ([[Terror Mountain]], The [[Lost Desert]], The [[Haunted Woods]], and [[Faerieland]]) meeting his other crew members ([[Mipsy]], [[Talinia]], and [[Velm]]) along the way, who are locked within simulation booths as well. Together, they try to regain control of the hijacked space ship which is heading towards the sun.

===Chapter 1===
[[Ramtor]], [[King Skarl]]'s advisor, takes the throne of [[Meridell]] from him and puts him in his tower's dungeon, and slowly begins to take over the land. In Trestin, Rohane notices this change in the land and decides to head out on an adventure with his Father's sword. Along the way he encounters his shipmate Mipsy and adds her to his party.

===Chapter 2===
Rohane and Mipsy arrive in [[Terror Mountain]], where the paths across the mountain become clogged with snow, making it difficult to traverse, and monsters are swarming all the passes. After defeating [[Leximp]] and helping a city of [[Chia]]s, they meet [[Talinia]], who joins them. After defeating [[Kolvars]] they eventually come to the [[Snowager]], who was trapped by [[Scuzzy]]. After defeating Scuzzy the [[Snowager]] is released, and he's revealed to be the overseer program and, and the snow the clogged data routes of the space ships computer.

===Chapter 3===
A sandstorm rages in the [[Lost Desert]], and [[Princess Vyssa]] seeks a relic, the Medallion of the Wind, designed to control the weather. First, the group defeats [[Siliclast]] and retrieves the Celestial Talisman, which points to the direction of the Medallion. Then, they defeat [[Gebarn II]] and retrieve the first piece of the Medallion. Then, [[Velm]] joins the group and together, they defeat the Renevant and rescue Lifira, the librarian, and another computer program. Lifira tells the group a password. When the group tells the hermit the password the hermit reveals information about the 2nd piece of the Medallion. After finding the 2nd piece, they defeat [[King Coltzan|Coltzan's Ghost]] who reveals the 3rd and final piece of the Medallion. Then, the group finds a gemstone, which makes the Medallion complete. After that, the group goes to Zakharukh's Pyramid, where the Medallion must be taken for the weather to be restored. As it turns out, the sandstorm was random data, and by removing it the ship's computers are now accessible. The heroes discover that the ship is heading towards a star, and that they must enter the other simulations quickly before the ship's hull melts and they are boiled alive.

===Chapter 4===
Rohane appears in the [[Haunted Woods]], where a spell has been cast on the sun, keeping it stuck in the sky all day long, making it difficult for the residents as ghosts began to live in their houses, and keeing other such creatures in seclusion. Residents of [[Shadow Gulch]] say it was [[Count Von Roo]] who cast the spell on the sun, but it turns out he was trying to cast a counter-spell, and was being held hostage by [[Meuka]]. After they defeated Meuka, the Count explained [[Balthazar]], [[Hubrid Nox]], and the [[Spider Grundo]] worked in collaboration to cast the real spell. After defeating the Spider Grundo, he said that Balthazar casted the spell, but Balthazar said Hubrid Nox casted the spell. So they defeated Hubrid Nox, but he explains that it's actually [[Edna]] who casted the spell.

After defeating the [[Esophagor]] which blocked the path to Edna, Rohane confronted her about the curse, and she said she was trying to keep the sun down, but messed up, possibly from too much ''[[Kadoatie]] Fur''. When asked if she could reverse the spell, she said no and dropped her ruse, revealing herself to one one of the AI in the ship's computer. The spell was meant to slow down the virus, but having got it backwards, the virus was more powerful than ever.

Mipsy then figured out how to access the ships computer through the simulator, and discovered they were not far from the sun, and a new simulation of [[Faerieland]] opened up, which could be seen through the clouds. Taliania noticed there was something wrong with it, and Edna wished them luck, and told them to hurry as there wasn't much time left.

===Chapter 5===
Coming into [[Faerieland]], Rohane and company discovered it was overrun by mercenaries and monsters after The Dark Faeries rebelled. Many of the cloud paths were destroyed, including ''The Bridge of Mist'' by a giant [[Devilpuss]]. Traveling through what remained of the clouds, Rohane defeated the [[Fallen Angel]] and giant Devilpuss on the way to the Faerie City. Once inside, they defeated [[The Faerie Thief]] who was coordinating monster attacks, and learned the Faerie Palace was overrun by the forces of a dragon calling himself [[King Terask]], who had taken the throne from [[Fyora]], the path to which was locked by two [[Pant Devil]]s. They eventually are freed fom their simulation booths after defeating King Terask twice. Then, they manage to steer their ship away from the sun seconds before they would crash into the sun.

The Darkest Faerie is the main antagonist of the game and its title character. At the start of the game, The Darkest Faerie escaped from her imprisonment under the sea when Jerdana's Orb fell from her neck. Soon after that, she washed up on the shores of [[Meridell]], claiming she was going to make everything dark and twisted. After [[Illusen]]'s charm was stolen by the [[Werelupe King]], nothing could stop The Darkest Faerie from taking over the land, and she quickly covered Meridell in a dark purple cloud, tainting all inhabitants under them (sans Tormund who had a necklace that protected him from her magic) with her evil. She also attacked Faerieland, tainting the inhabits as well and tying up Fyora. (sans Roberta who had a necklace similar to Tormund's) Thanks to Tormund and Roberta she was imprisoned in stone once again.

===Altador Plot===

In the [[Altador Plot]], users were required to find The Darkest Faerie's contellation, known as ''The Sleeper''. Finding her constellation began to break down a spell that was cast over Altador to cover up it's history.

On the 28th of March, a new link was discovered on the [[Altador]] map that led to the ''Restive Tomb''. Clicking one of the holes in the center of the door would reveal the pattern of the first constellation. Go back to the Archivist then to the observatory. Find the constellation and report back to the Astronomy Club. The gems above the Darkest Faerie statue now glow and ''The Sleeper'' chapter in the ''Book of Ages'' is filled in.

Draiks appeared in [[Neopia]] without any warning, seeming to come from another world (later found out to be [[Meridell]]). Featured primarily as knights and castle guards in Meridell Castle, Draiks are curious Neopets that love to hunt, but never know what to do with their prey once they catch it. They also love going on adventures which can take them far away from home. It's also assumed the average Draik to be 3 feet tall as shown by the [[Neopets TCG]] card [http://www.neopets.com/tcg/displayCard.phtml?edid=2&id=5 Draik Soldier].

Draiks were released as [[Limited Edition]] Neopets along with [[Ixi]]s, but while Ixis are now available normally, no more Draiks have been released. Instead, they are available by visiting the [[Draik Nest]] with a '''Draik Egg''', allowing it to hatch (similar to the way a [[Krawk (Neopet)|Krawk]] is received). Besides hatching a Draik from a Draik Egg, a user can also buy a [[Morphing Potion]] to change their Neopet, or take them to the [[Lab Ray]]. All methods, however, are expensive, as the Lab Ray is in high demand and Draik Eggs and Morphing Potions are in limited number. The fact users receive an [[Avatar]] for owning a Draik and visiting the [http://www.neopets.com/medieval/draiknest.phtml Draik Nest] makes it all the more expensive. According to the [http://www.neopets.com/topneopets.phtml Neopian Popularity] list, the reptilian and alligator/crocodile-like Krawk is the rarest [[Neopet]] in [[Neopia]]. A little over 2,000 exist in Neopia, due to the unique methods to create one. However, this number only reflects the number of Krawks that were created and not any pets that have been obtained by using a potion or the [[Lab Ray]], so the actual number is much higher and unknown.

The Krawk is the only species in existence that are [[Petpet]] mutations. One day, an owner took his Neopet to the [[Fungus Cave]] on [[Krawk Island]]. The Neopet in question also brought along his Petpet, which was incidentally a [[Krawk]]. When the petpet ate the fungus, it slowly mutated into a full-grown Krawk.

However, when news got out about this, the price of the unpopular Krawk Petpet skyrocketed. As of April 2006 they were worth over 4.5 million [[Neopoint]]s, and the Krawk is one of the most coveted pets on the site. Many consider it a status symbol pet, since a person would need to be either very rich or very lucky to have one.

Classified by scientists as a Neopet and a Petpet, this lizard-like creature loves mischief and it is a common sight to see a shop keeper chase a Krawk down the street while the Krawk runs away with a string of sausages in its claws laughing gleefully. Also a seasoned fighter, this Neopet's outgoing nature and natural fighting ability make it a prime candidate for [[Battledome]] veterans.

Years later, King Kelpbeard oversaw the rebuilding of a new city in a secret location. King Kelpbeard became old and wiser, and organized armies to protect New Maraqua and prevented surface dwellers to discover the location. He also ordered the people to not interact with those of the surface, believing it was for the better.

King Kelpbeard is a 53 year old male and he is a [[Blue]] [[Koi]]. His quote is "Never trust the surface-dwellers." His duties are to renovate Maraqua and guiding and protecting his citizens.

Jazan was tricked into unleashing his father by a false prophecy, telling him that if he married a Sakhmet princess, the curse would be lifted. The curse was not lifted however, and he eventually sent her back to Sakhmet City, hoping she'd be happier there. After her departure, he severely weakened from lack of food and sorrow.

A [[Chia]] and his [[Tigermouse]] named [[Sqeaky]] move into a haunted [[Neohome]] at 131 Soup Alley in [[Neopia Central]]. Later that night, objects began floating into air and attacking them, and then the [[Ghost Lupe]] appeared, chasing them out of the Neohome. They ran to the Defenders of Neopia Headquarters to get help and soon after the Ghost Lupe was caught in a ghost trap.

====Kidnapped!====
A [[Kacheek]] and an [[Aisha]] are hiking the recently discovered [[Tyrannina]], and the Aisha spots a cave. The Kacheek dares the Aisha to go in, and the Aisha dares the Kacheek back and he accepts. As they enter, a [[Cave Chia]] spots them after they almost fall over an edge. Feeling they are being watched, the Aisha wants to leave, but the Kacheek insists on continuing. They are both caught by the Cave Chia and hung in a cage high above the ground. Televised news reports they have gone missing and Judge Hog calls forth the Defenders of Neopia, finding and capturing the Cave Chia, saving the Neopets.

====Meuka Attacks!====
[[Meuka]] was hungry and decided to explore after finding no [[food]] in the [[Haunted Woods]], finding a local village. The villagers ran in fear, but the more Meuka ate, the more mucus he created, trapping the Neopets in it. Judge Hog sends [[Sergeant Brexis]] and the defenders of Neopia to help, and defeated Meuka in time.

Judge hog wakes up hours later hanging upsidedown, about to be fed to monstrous Noils in Chuckles hideout.

To find Mr. Chuckles, users you had to ask [[Sidney]] where he went, and find he went to [[Arnold ]] at [[Test Your Strength]], who said he went off to [[Coconut Shy]]. After searching the area, Mr. Chuckles lair was found, and users were able to save Judge Hog.

It is a little known fact that some of the worst thieves around [[Neopia]] are comprised of a band of the cutest denizens. [[Aisha]]s. Two of them, Purrow and Meesha, are among the worst. Living in dark passages connected to the sewers under the city of [[Neopia Central]], they roam by night, stealing what valuable trinkets they can find.

As of now, only 2 members of around 20 of the Aisha Thieves are universally known. These two are called Purrow and Meesha. Judging by the [[Neopedia]] article, we can be moderately sure that Purrow is the higher ranking of the two thieves. This is because he is the one that appears to be giving the orders. Of course, he may just be arrogant, so we may never know.
