They were introduced on 11 January 2000 as the Fleye (see [[#Old designs|below]]). They have excellent eyesight and are very acrobatic. Many farmers consider Buzz a menace, as they can fly to the top of trees and pick the plumpest fruit in the blink of an eye. The Buzz was first introduced as the Fleye on 11 January 2000 as the result of a Christmas Pet Competition. The Fleye was an eyeball with wings, feet, and antennae, and can still be seen in an old [[Caption Competition]] and the original icon for the [[ability]] ''Flight''.

The Fleye only lasted six months - it was replaced on 24 July that year with the first Buzz design, which was much more insectoid although ironically lost the antennae.
