Anybody found anymore? Any chance it might be plot related, maybe search the help index for a certain phrase? Or have I just been off neopets so long that I'm getting delusional?

Like I said, I'm glad I slept through most of it, hope that I don't have to sleep through another lot of downtime, and this has really brought PPTers and guests crawling out of the woodwork.

Actually, Explore works, all of the first pages of each world work, Help works, and How-to-Draw works. The prevailing theory is that these pages are on a different server, and are therefore unaffected.


In relation to a topic at the end of the locked thread, that stuff on the neocam looks more like a leftover hor' duerve (sp) than actual cake. It could be decorative green icing, though. Maybe for Meridell.

Yeah, I didn't think of that. I forgot how corporate neopets has become lately...

It seems that they had a big celebration in the Neo headquarters, it seems things got a bit rowdy and Adam hit donna with some super attack pea, well Donna got mad at Adam and hit him with here Faerie Sling shot, but Adam reacted quickly blocking it with his leaf shield and dual shovel, which reflected some of the earth damage back to Donna, which in turn made here slip on the floor. Seeing this Mr. Insane bend down to help Donna up, and did not see, some lame TNT monitor was lurking behind him in doing so the lame TNT monitor slipped all the beer he was hogging on the main database server, and thus we are all here waiting for them to get it fixed.

This isn't the first time this has happened. I think people just aren't used to it because it hasn't happened in quite a while. In late spring/early summer, it seemed to be down for hours every weekend.

Nor is this the worst thing that has ever happened. The TP fiasco, the password glitch, lost shop items for many, many players (some of which didn't return for months and some of which never returned), the 2-day rollback on the "a" line, and that strange weekend this past summer when it went down, then up, then down, then we lost our SDB items, our shops, and our petpets were gone.

Just a suggestion for those of you ready to bust a gut because it isn't accessible: do something fun in real life and forget about Neo for awhile. Because, honestly, you don't know if it is going to be a few more minutes or a few more days.
