I was on the neoboards months ago, Virtupets, methinks, and spammers were raiding the board. All of a sudden, when I refresh the page, I see four options under each player's name on the boards, each in a different color: (frz), (Del), (Wrn), and one that I can't for the life of me remember. I suddenly realized I had been granted moderator privileges, and when I thought of it, the prospect began to scare me- The monitors really DO have the capability to freeze you instantly at the touch of a button, and send warnings and such if the board even smacks of forbidden issues. I shuddered to think that maybe everyone on the NeoBoards had the power to do so as well, but I refreshed the page and it was gone. It was a strange experience, and what I found most entertaining about it is that the (frz) option was in light, chilly blue.

When you freeze someone, you have to type in a password. So they don't just misclick.

The (FRZ) button, IIRC, actually sends a notice to neopets' paid, full-time staff. That way, it's not the moderator, but the staff that does the freezing. The moderator just recommends freezing for a particular offense, and I would imagine that the Neopets Staff usually goes along with the mods.

LOL, *shrug* We had a long discussion about it back in the old screenies thread...I made a "guess" and an animation to go with it.

Adam (borovan) and snarkie got a kick out of it at least, never did get the real answer of what (MUL) stands for....multiple something I guess.

EDIT AGAIN: Chris was the one who first posted a screenie of the actual commands, unfortunately his screenie is now a broken link. But just FYI the FRZ option was red, not icy blue...(though your recollection is probably the more appropriate color).
