I don't think this is really needed since school is over/almost over for many of us.

There's quite a few people who live in Australia/NZ/whatever other countries don't have Summer breaks. So you never know, it might be useful.

Gone, forever.

Yea! *stop replying to those posts before me alex :P*

Anyhoo, as a conincidence I be doing romeo and juliet in english right now but its pretty easy. My teacher is out to get me though... shes called me a kittens several times which is kinda unfair. Same with my S&E teacher, she yelled at me because I couldn't do the presentation because my partner was sick...

Silly teachers. But yea, I think its needed!

She seriously did that? Teachers are supposed to be authority figures. They are definately *not* supposed to call their students names. You can report her for that, you know. ;)

Thats the boring way out! I'm waiting until she does it again and i'll just call her whatever she calls me back... I'll use *but if she can use it why can't i* as the excuse. She is seriously loosing her mind though, we got a hand out the other day and it was in half french words. She can't speak french

At all

Translated it read like "And I hope that you can bring in your appples on clock" sigh...

Well i'm getting off topic so heres something

I have a s&e presentation (why should WA seperate from the rest of australia and become an independent country) and my partner has a really bad flu and they can't do the accents which kinda make it funny, and I can barely remember half of it (and the teacher hates me, don't forget that), does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

Err, well the grade sevens at my school are doing a math test from the School Board, and it has algebra in it. Thing is, I was never taught algebra. Could someone explain it to me, please? One of the quesitons was "4x-5=19 x=______" *feels stupid*

Well, if you were never taught algebra, you can't be expecte to know it...
The goal in algebra is to get x by itself (isolate the variable) by taking everything else away from it. So...

4x-5=19
Add 5 to both sides
4x=24
Divide both sides by 6
x=6

You can check that this is true because if you substitute x into the equation:
4(6)-5=19
24-5=19
19=19
Which is obviously true.

Okay, I know, that was a terribly crappy explanation, so sorry. Hope it helps a little anyhow. :P

Atomic mass = mass of protons and neutrons together.
