the look (in my opinion) is getting a bit aged. Such as the big bar on the right...

Yeah, most of the 'Latest' news is months old, not to mention useless, boring and...useless

The bar on the right is mainly for the benefit of newbies. I duno how I would have survived if it weren't for that bar in my first week. Honestly. That glorious extra 300 np from completing a five minute survey :P I wouldn't get rid of it. Revamp it maybe, but not get rid of it.

Personally, I don't mind the homepage at all. I'd rather they spent their time on making good games, plots, wars and things instead of the homepage. Oh, and making sure the site was actually up and functioning. Next to that, the look of the homepage becomes insignificant.
