hehe

Designwise, the Kacheek is very simple with very little you can elaborate on compare to other pets (especially recent ones.) Rather than make it something "highly detailed" which would ruin the Kacheek in my opinion, they worked in the simplicity of the orignial design quite nicely to make something that's worth that paintbrush.

My thoughts exactly. It reminds me of the baby Kacheek a lot. Or at least that pose does.

My beef with Maraquan Gelert is that it just doesn't seem like a Gelert, but more like a slimy poodle. It's the snout and the eyes. Gelerts usually have bright eyes, but these don't have that shine.
Plus, the tentecles seems a bit....flat or something about them is wrong, but I'll admit, my knowlegde with sea animals is poor, so maybe that's normal.

Grey Kacheek, IMO, isn't like baby..mainly cause those aweful rosy cheeks are gone. Sure, we could so it's a mistreated baby kacheek, but that might be taken wrong.

Kacheeks are simple in design, as Rune said. Least Grey kacheek shows life and moves more then grey Aisha did.

That Maraquan Gelert takes the cake for worse color of any pet, maybe I'm going off a little...its pretty downright horrible though.

I really like those Royal Korbats. They reek of effort, and actually seem original, and didn't seem like they were drawn just so one could use a royal paint brush (cough-royalscorchio-cough).

I do like that Kacheek, but I think it could have been greyer. Looks to me like a sad silver Kacheek.

On the Gelert, I think it would a good concept, just not executed well. Like he could have had to longer tentacles at the front, like a squid. and the body's too squarish. Oh well, I still like it more the Maraquan Mynci :/

*SIgh* I don't want any more species. I want them to focus on the game they've created and paint all the Pet's with the Brushes they already have instead of brining new pets out...

Maraquan Gelert sucks, honestly. Octopus doesn't have long ears. :(
