ROFL... that is too hilarious!!! Definetly not a coincidence. Everything but the colors of the flower (and the bruce/homer) are the same.

I know the spardel really closely resembles a real life dog breed, but I can't for the life of me remember which one it is!

oh! you're certainly right about that one. i was thinking pugs because of the buggy eyes. oh, how i hate those googly bulging eyes...

Hmmm, that may be correct. I remember once someone was complaining that the spardel was making fun of people with lazy eyes or something and there was a dog someone posted to debunk their claim that looked just like the spardel. I don't remember what it was anymore, though. The terrier is very close, though!
