Darigan Citadel have a new player and have changed the skieth. Their goalkeeper is now the new jetsam not the meerca anymore. So yeah we'll definately have it this year.

It's too bad I didn't think about writing down last year's roosters to compare... I think they also changed something during the cup. It would have been interesting to keep track.

I don't think I like us getting that Eyrie from Maraqua, and Shenkuu looks promising. Aww, choices, choices.

I'm supporting Tyrannia again......... They're underdogs, they're a physical team, and their main color is brown. No prizes if you can guess which real-life sports team they represent to me.

Hopefully we'll get past the first round this year.

It was NOT fun, having to pick a new team after each round last time. Pretty much every team I joined lost the next round. :lol:

I still have the Roo Island banner saved from last year. But now I'm torn between them and Shenkuu, on one hand I want to be faithful to the blumaroos, on the other, Shenkuu is my dreamworld

Who do you think has got the most chances?

I changed Roo Island this year, by the way. Last year looked like this:

Provided it isn't stuck in your cache, it should have lost the blurred edges. Of course, if you'd rather, you can use the blurry ones still. They just have a 2 tacked into the URL.

(I still feel kind of bad about abandoning TM this year, but I kind of fell in love with the Roo "underdogs" when I switched sides after round 1.)

Their team looks awesome. Well except for that fat fish, that's just... wrong.

But now I'm torn between Shenkuu and the Haunted Woods. *twitch* oohhhhh decisions.

I have a question..... When I chose Altador, If they lose in the first round or whenever and if I don't switch in the next round.. Would the trophy be Altador themed? Last year I started Maraquan and switched to Haunted Woods at the end and the trophy became haunted woods supporter.

I'm now torn between Shenkuu (but the fat fish with feet both frightens and confuses me) and Roo Island. (I almost went for Kreludor, merely for the Lutari... but I will be strong and not go for them.)

Now.... Shenkuu or Roo Island. Decisions, decisions...

So, does anyone else think the cup might start this week some time? I hope to see an update with tonight's news. When I visit the page linked here to the team profiles, I see "join this team" as a link... and joined Roo Island. It told me that I can't change teams til the next round... only to be linked to another page informing me that the Haunted Woods has won. IE: they're last year's links.

Whoo, more updates!

I sleuthed around the neoboards for a while, and found out a few things.
Firstly, it appears there are going to be a few more Yooyus in this years competition:

Secondly, someone spotted that the orange and purple of Kreludor has been dropped, for the red and yellow of Shenkuu. Aww, I quite liked Kreludor... anyway, at least it's an end to that.

Poor Kreludor, my second favorite. Maybe if they continue the Cup, one team will take a turn sitting out each year. (Or two or however many need to if they add new worlds.)
