Re: tip for latest puzzle

cybertrini wrote:My tip might be a cheap trick, but it works wonders: as with other ppl's tips, turn each ring one symbol at a time so that you can determine which symbols you have in your solution. My twist was to try all in succession and if I got a puzzle with 3 or 4 of the same symbols, then I'd work with that. If not, I'd run the game out by hitting the red button and getting a new puzzle, and I kept going until I did get one with 3 or 4 of the same symbols. In other words, keep going until you get a puzzle that you can "luck out" on! It greatly reduces the number of tries wasted on figuring out the symbols, so you can concentrate on getting them in the right place.

If anyone uses this and it helps, you're welcome!

Good idea!

Have you tried moving everything off the board where you can see each indv. piece, then print that picture, cut out the stuff and try to fit it on the board that way.. seemed to help a lot of other people

I'll give it a go, but I can see you haven't read the tips suggested by the way your anchors are positioned, you'll never be able to solve it that way anyway.

If you read the first post, you will see that we are only meant too give a three piece solution, thus allowing people to complete the puzzle on their own.

Well that was kinda fun. XD I like this sort of puzzle. I like Time Tunnel, but I rarely play it because it takes too long and the NP payout isn't good. I'm not good at these puzzles, but I like them.

But, does anyone get the feeling they're making this plot really easy for the kiddies because they're gearing neopets all to little kids now? No hunting around for clues, no figuring out obscure little things. Just, here's your comic, here's your puzzle. :( I don't know, but I'm getting the distinct feeling of a kid's activity book with the way the puzzles are presented.

Or maybe they're just starting out easy to lure us in and it'll get harder as it goes. I can only hope...

Lots of people have been trying for a lot longer than a hour.

Have you read the tips linked from the first post? They have helped a lot of people.

If yes, I'll see what I can do, but we have a three-piece soltuion policy thingy going on :)
