At first I couldn't part-take in this experiment, but I wanted to help out so I changed my pet's species (she hasn't turned Glowing though).

A while back I decided to make her petpage into a Glowing Jelly Experiment page so other users could find out more (since many Neopets players haven't visited this PPT forum thread). The page is http://www.neopets.com/~Durianik, suggestions/criticism/comments very welcome :)

Nothing from my pet yet. I'm still doing it, though.

I'm only at 24. this is going to take a while :P
Oh, everyone thinks I'm crazy, just 'cause I try to warn people about the face-sucking aliens headed for Earth. Yeah, laugh now, have your face sucked off later. When the aliens come, I'll be the only one left with a face, and I'll be using that face to laugh at all of you, even though I'll be sad.

I'd love to, but my pets are vacationing at el-cheepo for another month.

I better stock up on glowing jellies o.o

what would be totally eye-gougingly awsome is that they actually do turn glowing by this process, and the price of glowing jelly goes up.

please ignore the following unless you have the patience of a saint.

of course, following supply and demand, if it take 255 jellies [just a random number ;)] per pet to turn it glowing, and the amount of jellies being spewed out of jelly world is 1 per person, we'll say a million people a day, that's 1,000,000 jellies a day... not counting the ones already out there, and plus, I'm pretty sure neo has like 53 million accounts, with something like a good 10M active, and 5M atleast knowing the existance of jello... but the odds of getting glowing are enough to even it out to 1M, so...

so 4000 pets per day of jelly could be turned glowing per 1M jellies collected, if all of them are used to make glowing pets... which means jellies will climb up in price from [I'm assuming] 20NP-100NP a full jelly, to 150NP-300NP a full jelly at best.

how much are they though? just a random question...

oi, if it happened to someone, it's not a fluke, but the number could be completely random.

Neopets state in their advertising that they have 160 mil online players.. but this also includes spare accounts, frozen accounts etc which is a bit misleading if you ask me, but somewhere on the site, i think it may be the press page it sayins something like 60mil players which i would think would be the rounded full number of active acounts that arent spares etc. probably fairly true considering the number of countries neopets is expanding too now.

I guess it could be a fluke but i'm going to try nevertheless. My bori wouldnt take the jelly it wouldnt touch it.
It said "Yuck!I'm not eating that." so I'm trying on my lupe instead.

EDIT: Has eaten one jelly so far but is too full for any more.
How long does it take to get it hungry?

It takes them a while...

best thing to do: starve them to dying, and then stuff them with jelly.
Or you could give them a bit, and basicly make it go back and forth between dying and starving.
