It's the pufferfish. (That's why the dorsal fin is close to the tail and sticks out like that.) ^___^ Cute! I admit, I don't terribly want one myself, but it's a pretty good color anyway.

Xweetoks are getting such good colors... I am beyond tempted to make my next pet a xweetok but I don't like to have a lot of pets so I'd better wait a bit to make sure I'm not just smitten with the shiny newness of it. *_*

I dont think its a puffer fish... especially because thats what the Meerca is supposed to be. Puffer fish do have the beak-like-lips, and that wierd fan-like fin shape, but those are the only similarites.

I happen to think its supposed to resemble a Parrot Fish.

Now, it probably doesnt "resemble" anything... they didnt make it based on anything.... they just gave it some charicteristics of some fish to make it more.... fish-like. I like it... i just think it should have more bruch characterstics... like the right coloring *with the face being one color, with the other color around the face and going down to the beak..* and i miss the bow. Thats a symbol of Bruces. Its cute though.

I was trying to remember what the cube shaped fish were called, I've seen a yellow one before, but Scythe posted on NC with the answer... a Boxfish :D A spotted boxfish at that too I think. No wonder I couldn't find the right species by searching for cube fish xD

I've never been a fan of Island pets, but I really like the Island Xweetok. I'll wait to see if they get better colors, but I really, really like the Island...

I think the spotted xweetok is very nice. Island is good, but the green ruff bothers me. It looks like an evergreen wreath decorated for christmas. Bleh.

It's so neat when they make a pet that looks like an actual animal. Yay for mara-bruce.

Island xweepuff is nice too, though I have to agree, island pets with the strange green ruff are a bit off-putting.

I think that's why I like it so much. The Island Xweetok is nice but I wouldn't want one.
