Wow. I'm hoping they'll replace the current map with that soon!

The only problem I can think of is that you can't really tell what your cursor's hovering over but for the little image inside the left circle, which isn't too clear. I kinda miss the words...

And, um, the "symbol" for the Lost Desert, why isn't it a Scarabug or something? What are those non-Neopian hieroglyph things?

(sorry if this was already menioned) I wonder what the island north of Lutari Island is? It looks like there's more detail there than on any of the other un-inhabited islands. The river and falls and stuff... I wonder if we have yet another new island coming up?

I do think that this will suck for everyone with dial-up or other slow connections. it lags for me and i have DSL. i really hope we get to keep the nice html map. it was easier to navigative anyway with just one side of the planet

I think it will be a lot better looking once thy make it vector like the other flash portals. Now, it has a 'Ronald McDonald kiddies map' look to it.

It's nice to see Kiko Island seperate.

Sad that all that is added is Lutari Island and Altador.

Actually, I think those are feathers. Lutari island seems to be a SUPER FESTIVE HAPPY FUN version of Mystery island.

But it seems this image is pretty complete, at best it's going to be tweaked a bit before it's released.

I don't understand why they have put Terror Mountain right in the middle of the Lost Desert, the climate on Neopia must be pretty messed up. They should have put TM at the very top, like the north pole type thing, and had something new and exciting in that spot.

Ah... yes. Concept art... I hate it when I can't think of words like that.

Although the image does seem pretty complete, it could still be just a high-level draft version, a well-developed "pitch" version. If you look at it you can see that the surrounding items are already vector art; it's only the planet that is sketchy.

I have also come up with another complaint, by the way. I wish they could just be slick and come up with SIMPLE "heiroglyphs" as we have been calling them; for instance, look at the kiko lake one compared to roo island. Look at roo island compared to the haunted woods, and then maraqua.
I would make maraqua a shell. Only. I would make kiko lake a kiko. or a MUCH simpler version of the kiko building they are using. I would make king roo smaller with thinner lines and fewer details.

WHAT is their deal!!?! *whine*

There are three places I've seen. Two may just be mountainous regions though and not undeveloped new areas. Also, no sign of Jellyworld, yet which means the one to the far North may be it, or it might be Jellyworld is going to remain "nonexistant" for a while longer.
