Wow, Ruki FINALLY got a new color. Thank you TNT for finally showing SOME care to poor ruki!

I love the items on the Ruki, except the clor. That's gotta be the first island pet that makes me think girl. Past that...it rocks.

A gelert revamp? No way, they just got one a few years ago! Gelerts are fine the way they are, save the revamps for pets who REALLY need it (Tuskaninny, Flotsam, Peophin, Blumaroo, Meerca, Pteri... even pets like Scorchios and Shoyrus could stand an update)

Desert Uni finally revamped and made for Uni day.

EDIT: Why can't I find any of the uni day images? >_<

I hate to say it... it's terrible compared to the previous incarnation... more plan and it stands out less.

I know they had a revamp, but it sucks. They should have ended up looking like one of the gelerts in my sig (I voted for the blue one myself), but instead we got this weird dopey-looking thing with its tongue hanging out in an odd way. I know other species need a revamp -- some more than the gelert does -- but that doesn't change my opinion that the gelert needs one too.

I'm getting tired of the fact that every time someone posts that they think a species could use a revamp, other people jump on them and say "not as much as [insert random species here]!" A LOT of species need revamps. If I single one out, it's not because I'm purposefully overlooking the others.

The old one was better.
Still they made in with Cleopatra in mind again, just not as prettied up.

I must say... this new uni, is horrible. I dont want to be mean to the artists, so ill stop there.

but they gave it a wig... and golden hooves.... and a diaper. I liked the older one better...

ok, it could obviously use a revamping, but i would like this style on the new uni... the golden mask and golden wings are WAY cool, i love the beads, and the hair is more than the basic "cleopatra" look that they give all female desert pets when they need them to look feminine. This one has dreadlocky things... i loved it... i will miss it so. :cry:

Well, I'd hate to be the one to break the cycle hear, but I like the new Desert Uni. Many Eqyptian royal figures wore wigs, much in the fashion that 17th-18th century European rulers wore powdered wigs. It actually fits a bit more historically than the other one, and LOOKS like it came from the desert in ancient Egypt

Pteri? Did I read you correctly? Are you saying my percious Pteri need a revamp? *Glares @ Erin* I'm 80% against it.20% for because I want the Shadow Pteri to look like TBP and the Rainbow to look more like the TCG

Hmmm... The old one was better. But I suppose this one is okay... just not as good as the Desert Cybunny or Usul. Always look at the circle pose though, as it's usually better than the happy pose.

And personally, I think the Pteri needs a revamp more than any other pet. I've always thought that they could look so much cooler. Right now they just look so... randomly thrown together.
