well I have 94 HP
Strength : EXCELLENT (44)
Defence : GREAT (33)
Move : EXCELLENT (46)
and have lost 6 times total. I had 36 defence until this mornings lab ray.
My defence is really high and so is my move and strength, it's my hp's that are dismal, i am trying to get them up by training because i can't use the lab on my pet anymore. I only have one pet i use it on and the ray has taken alot of everything away from it lately. My hp's are only at 18.

I think, after 3 games, I reached my limit against the Petpetpet Horde.
If it can help you any, here’s a description of the 3rd battle. I’ll call my pet “J”.
J stats:
Lvl: 71
St: 139
Df: 139
Hp: 140
Arsenal: H4000 helmet; downsize; Garoo Elite Blaster; Mega Cabbage; Bracelet of Kings; Patched Magic Hat; Mask of Coltzan; Ghostkerbomb.
P3 Horde stats:
Hp: 281
Round One
J: H4H; Bracelet of Kings; sink
P3 Horde: Petpetpet venom, a freezing weapon; bersek
It was pretty much the usual safe start. I knew the P3 Horde would probably freeze, so decided to use drain life later.
Round 2
Froze all around, at least, J didn’t loose points on the first one
Round 3
J: Mask; G-bomb; Drain life
P3 Horde: Berserk; no weapons
It was time for J to show his fangs, if a blumaroo has fangs, to start with. I went full force on Drain Life, a decision that proved useful on later rounds.
- Zero damage taken, 142 hp(!) damage inflicted
Round 4
J: Downsize; Garoo EB; blumaroo whistle
P3 Horde: Sword of the Dead; drain life
Yes, it was a mistake being so conservative here, but how could I knew? I thought they would hit me hard, after taking so much damage. A mistake that coasted me my downsize. Still, I though I had the upper hand. The Horde was still to hit me hard, and I took another good bite of their points.
- J took 15 hp of damage this round, but hit the horde on 51.
Round 5
J: garoo EB; cabbage; blumaroo dodge
P3 Horde: Thyora Tear; Sword of the dead; drain life
And you thought I couldn’t possible make a worst move than the previous round. My idea was to use the cabbage to hit the Horde, and still regain some of the points they took from J. Result of not being offensive: couldn’t made even a scratch on the enemies. Oh, well. I still had lots of HP avaliable
- J was hit on 29 hp, while his efforts cost the horde… not a single point.
Round 6
J: cabbage; BofK; Burrow
P3 Horde: FireBall Staff
Yes, things seem to be working again for my blumaroo. Facing a new weapon, managed not only to take minimal damage, but took another chunk of their health. At this point, I was thinking I could end up this thing fast, even in the next round or so.
- J took a measly 6 of damage, hit the horde hard claiming 25 HP of their side
Round 7
J: Garoo EB; Patched M Hat; Fiery Gaze
P3 Horde: Poison Petpetpet Quill; Berserk
The idea was to use what I had left of power to try and freeze the horde, and just bring the victory home in the next round. But, of course, I forgot to tell the monsters to follow such script. Still, the PMH saved J’s blumaroo tail this round.
- J was hit in 54 hp (aaaaaargh!); the horde, laughing, lost only 36.
Intermission
So here we are. J has only 7 (seven) hp left. The Horde has 54. No bomb, no downsize, no power, no freeze chance, no nothing. How can our brave shadow blumaroo survive? Stay tuned.
Round 8
J: Cabbage; BofK; blumaroo dodge
P3 Horde: no weapons, berserk
I had no option, really. Just use my BofK and hope for some heal. If the random weapon decided to attack or reflect, it would mean game over to J. But, what do you know, not only the Horde decided not to use any weapon, but that was one of the extremely rare occasion where both the cabbage and the BofK decided to heal. J is an extremely lucky blumaroo. And he is back in the fight.
- J made some minor damage on the Horde, with I forgot to write down, and got healed 60 hp! Yay!
Round 9
J: Garoo EB; Mask; defend
P3 Horde: Sword of the Dead; drain life
Yes, there’s nothing like a luck round to make one pet bolder. I want to know how many times the petpetpets can drain life, but no matter now. The table has turned. With this attack, J took the Hord down to 4 – that’s four – hp.
- J was hit and lost 13 of his points; the Horde took goods 57 hp of damage
Round 10
No, J was not on a safe position. The Horde had only 4 points, but he had only 46. A stronger attack from the monsters still could win the match. All went down to the choice of the weapons now.
J: cabbage; Mask; blumaroo Whistle
The mask would protect me and attack; the cabbage would give me 10 hp just in case. As for the Horde…
P3 Horde: no weapon; berserks.
No weapons! I hit the monsters on 36 hp! It was a thrilling victory, despite the weak end.

well, I finally beat that accursed Horde. PHEW!!!
Came down to the wire. It beat me down to about 28 HP, and I figured I'd throw everything I had in a last ditch effort. Thank Fyora it worked. I forget now who suggested in the last split that I use the Scarab Ring, but thank you very much. It worked wonders, and it was really cheap.
I am not going up against this horde again, so I'm hoping my 1 win will count for something when they tally the points. For those who have multiple wins on this thing, good job!
EDIT: It was Cranberry who made the suggestion, so thanks!

Attempt 2, now with the 55 defense boost. You'd think I'd have done better than the first round:
1) Me: Scarab ring + Leaf shield + burrow (strong)
Horde: berserk (so I wasted burrow)
2) Me: Scarab ring + Leaf shield + cautious attack
Horde: Poisonous petpetpet quill + Jade scorchstone + berserk
My leaf shield and scarab ring deflected some of the icons, but the Horde still wiped me out in that one round (all 51 hp) -- I only took 12 of its HP.
So I hope that somehow makes those with weakish pets more hopeful.
First round, I did bring the Horde down by nearly half, using much the same strategy. I suppose a bit of luck and a multi-use healer might be helpful (first round, I used my greater healing scroll too soon, but if it'd used the quill, it wouldn't have mattered either way).

I was a bit intimidated by the Horde at first (especially since the lab took my last defense boost), but it's not nearly so bad as I thought it would be.
I responded to you in the Faerie Quest Help thread.

Aha! There!
3 stone snowballs, burrow, greater healing scroll, and lots of Scarab Ring/Obsidian Dagger.
Fierce Attack, mostly... It was hard, and I doubt I'll be able to win again. He got me down to 10 HP, when he was 11 HP... It was a lucky win, because he didn't use Drain Life or Freeze Me (Except the first round).

NOOOOOOO! I lost. That means a total of 19k of my hard earned np wasted. Never should have bought that stupid supernova. If I used a sticky snowball I would have had a bit of hope but nah! their petpetpet quil attack was devastating. In one round I had conceded 75hp from that.
Oh crap! I just remembered that I left my car keys in the OTHER dimension...
