You know, it was interesting until I found the deficiency in the AI that basically allows you to win every single game.

And how many wins are people aiming for? Personally, I'm trying to get to 60, to bring my total to 200...

There's tips buried somewhere in the previous threads. Basically, if you situate yourself on the edge of the field between the middle line and the goal, and shoot at a 45 degree angle, you will almost always score. The only notable exception is the faerie yooyu, which you simply need to shoot head on at the goalie. I went from barely geting by with 4-3 wins early on to spending the last minute of my 9-0 wins playing keep away. Being easy doesn't make it any less boring and repetitive unfortunately.

If I manage to score 50 wins each night, I'll end up with 500 for the Cup. Right now I'm at 250.

Argh, why it's still not summer holiday here in Hong Kong...I missed 2 rounds (due to...exam of death.), if it's summer holiday now, then I can score more... *sighs* (AKA: Too lazy to score more scores.)

Unforunately I was working through most of the first half of the tournament, so I didn't get many wins, I now feel like a dufus for only having 38 wins! :oops:

Noticed that too... kinda strange!

Anyone noticed the dificulty of the game going upwards like hell?
i used to score 9-0 all the time. till now, my best resulf was a 6-1...
haunted woods, do you feel the same way?

I've made sure I had 1 win in each round, and I have stuck with Darigan since day1

I didn't notice much of a difficulty increase this time actually, went straight to my usual range of 7 to 9 goals/game with the odd one against. Maybe they tried to make it more difficult, but it's simply not enough to make a difference when they still obey the same basic rules.

I noticed the level of "difficulty" increase.
I lost the first game I played this round MISERABLY.
and then, poof! used to it.

Haha. Game number 77 (87 if you include practice rounds) and I FINALLY scored 9 goals...
I've been wanting to see the Super Goalie since it was first mentioned here, and now I FINALLY have.
The problem is that that's what was keeping me interested in the game... (having a goal a bit more interesting than a certain number of wins) and now that I've accomplished it, I'm like... err....

I think the Altador Cup is a nifty enough idea, but I can barely muster the mind-numbing attention span for 100 games, let alone the 500 or more that some of you have been mentioning.

My secret lies in turning off the sound and a stack of 20-30 cds. I tried television, but I kept wanting to turn around and watch it, resulting in a few 9-1 wins.

Have I been completely blind since the start, or does http://www.neo-addict.net/nawiki/index.php/Altador_Cup_Banners have zero mention of HW? o_o

I just decided I should find a nice little button for the finals, and so checked the list there and didnt see anything. It seemed wildly strange, since we did make it to the last match and everything.
