Yay!!!! Finally!!! 3 days of headache and finally got it figured out. I finally started just following other people's solutions, and instead of flooding Altador just went down the list. So I couldn't even tell you what my final solution was ;) Course then it took me 20 minutes to figure out that I had to line up the stars with so many clicks to get the star data accepted o_O Anyway, good luck to everyone who is still stuck and don't give up  Off to talk to the Archivist and play with the Astronomy club.

BTW great big cudos to ScottNak and everyone else for all their hard work with the walk throughs and to everyone else who created starmappers. I would never had made it this far without you all

The statue in the Maraquan ruins has been there for ages, way before the plot began. Also I really don't think the necklaces are the same, they may have the same colors (red and gold) but their designs are completely different and not to mention their shapes. The necklace on the darkest faerie in the ruins is Jerdana's Orb, which is a sphere not an amulet, at least not like the flat, coin-shaped one we have. See here:

I really don't think the amulet in maraqu has any significance to the plot. I think TNT planned it as a distraction really.

This is a screenie for those who are having trouble with the actual constellation.

Wait. the amulet in the constellation is way different from the amulet the constellation is on. that's a change. and it bears quite a resemblance to the statue amulet

Which leads to a pot-load more of confusion...

Prehaps teh amulet we picked up will TURN into the orb? :/ Random though. Mayhaps we have to fix it somehow?

Hahaha....very iiiinteresting. I wonder if this was a goof on TNT's part, or the orb/amulet are two very different (yet related) things?

I agree with you that it most likely doesn't, at least not now, have any significance to this mini-plot. But it does to the history of the DF, Faerieland, and Altador. It isn't a distraction though, especially since it has been there for at least 2 or 3 years now.

Best advice now is probably just leave it alone and come back later to try and finish it up. :/

the two DF statues, with their respective necklaces.
a)the Maraquan one. the real DF, turned to stone by the orb
b)the HoH one. just a sculpture, made when she was still a good guy. the amulet does nothing.

I couldn't agree with you more. After days of randomly clicking, then systematically clicking, then following other people's solutions, I just want to cry. It's never taken me this long to finish a plot part before.

Silly neo.

Evil neo.

I'm not concerened that the amulets are much different, given that doors made eyes, clouds made a faerie sleeping, and a farmer's field made wheat (ok THAT one makes sense)

Not that the others didn't. They're just different looking.
