Yes, to get in and out of the Scroll Repository, you must use the entrance (where you came in) at the first level.

I just used the links on the front page to avoid having to run around the temple on dial-up more than I had to and I got the vial and the crystal.

I don't think you have to leave the repository. I didn't.

Actually, I don't believe it is necessary to leave the repository before you visit the gift shop. I simply opened up a new window and went to the gift shop, fought the Spirit, etc, then just talked to the foreman again without ever leaving the repository

Correct, but most people that ask that are stuck because they are IN the Repository to begin with. I only assumed such, sorry if I am being redundent.

EDIT: If something has changed, maybe alert the mods; I believe it is contray to the info we received thus far. That one must first be outside the Repositirty to travel to an LDP (related, external) link.

I could be wrong but it might just be that we all assumed because we had to leave the repository during the furniture moving that this one would be the same. I tried figuring the worst that could happen is the gift shop would not work. It did so I kept going. That was on friday or saturday whenever the chef showed up.

Edit: Bad habit I skip words then realize after I post.
