Dark and gloomy.
I guess it fits the name better -- and it's clearly better art.
But I kind of liked the old one better.

This one sort of looks like it's mildewing
Also the techo on the volcahno looks like a poogle

The tripical foods shop and tiki-tack shops are pretty though and the new gad-gad's game hut is neat.
Actaly i like nos to fhte individual houses, I just wish that they had chosen a slightly different colour scheme. It's appropreate for parts of the island to be dark and icky (lost city, cooking pot, volcano, mystic, etc) but other ares like the beach and the tourist stuff should have the island around them be brighter and more cheerful. It is supposed to be a beautiful island with a thriving toursit industy that also has a mysterious dark aspect. If it always looked this dreary who would vist? Its hard to believe that The Beach is on that island

Just a small thing about the name of this thread. Mystery Island isn't new, it's only improved. And nothing can be new and improved, so you should think about that next time you want to say that, or see an advertisement saying that. Think about how many people work on a commercial or ad, and how many still say that, makes you think about what they're saying in that ad

The new map looks great! A lot of places have been getting much needed updates lately. I saw the map and decided to drop by here to see if everyone was talking about it, and just to say hi!

Now, if they start making the whole website in that style. I'd be on Neo more often, not just MI.

Even though it's dark and gloomy I really like it! It has an islandy touch to it...


I see a wocky in the left eye, and in the other something that looks like a techo and half of a Wocky, not an Acara.
