I joined Darigan Citadel because it atleast slightly resembles an Island, that is my only basis for it, I wanted to be on an Island team in the finals.

I have been HW since day one, because I took that silly little quiz and it said HW. I was going to join Altador (as I figured they'd be a shoo-in) but I'm glad I went with HW now!

As far as dead weight goes, I disagree. I think we'll pull through, regardless of our dead weight.

As for some of our players being jerks (whoohoo, the neoboards was MESSYYYYY last night!) I think they're just that...a player. One part of a team and they do not speak for the majority of us. So if you planned to join HW and were put off by one of those jerks, please reconsider. We're a good, hardworking team and we want that cup!

There's other possible explanations for that. People might be working harder while they get closer to the finals. Undedicated players may have lost interest as the tournament progressed or their original teams lost, which would have increased averages.

I want to join Haunted woods, but alot of people are saying that all the "freeloaders" wil join HW and that will cause their average score to go down and lose the game, just like what happened with Faerieland and MI.

Well, KI was the highest scoring team in round 2 and in round three we managed to get a 1.1 mil score (even though we lost), so I don't think this "dead wait" thing will have so much impact on a team that they'd lose.

What do you guys think?

So far, the highest scorers and most popular teams have always lost, every single round. However, there's a rather large gap this time.

It'll be close either way. Join the team you want to win with, not the one you think will win.

Well, I just joined the Haunted Woods! Even though the most popular/higest scoring teams in one round usually seem to lose the next round. The reason I joined HW is because when I was really young I LOVED spooky stories

Maybe a bit of a strange reason, but I just don't have anything with Darigan.

Aww.. I was away for the start of everything, but a couple days ago I joined Haunted Woods. So yay that they're in the finals!

I'm quite annoyed, because I was away for the weekend, and when I got back, my newly adopted team (Roo Island) had already lost, so I've missed a round.

That'll really damage my score, if they said that there'll be rewards for the people who were on the winning team (not me), and for those who played in every round (again, sadly, not me).

Sure, if you save to your own photo hosting service and PM me here to ask (I'll give you my neoname to credit on your lookup, even just in the alt tag or whatever). That one is actually just one pic with the two banners, but I can provide the Haunted Woods-only banner if people like. I don't care who uses it as long as they credit.

after meridell lost to darigan, i joined roo island, thinking we would go up against ki or hw, but then i went up against darigan again! If I had to play against darigan again, I think my brain would implode, so I had to join them because of health hazards! They were my third choice anyways...

Hee, I know. But the ones here are. I haven't seen any rude comments from Roo players here at PPT. I come here to get away from all the annoying braggarts (from ALL teams) on the Neoboards (a place I generally try to avoid, anyway), so it annoys me extra when people do that here. Well, I guess it's just our bad luck that the "vocal" Darigans ended up here, then. Perhaps all the vocal Roo Islanders have gone somewhere else, then?

For those who can't decide, flip a coin. Heads, go with Haunted Woods - because there's a snake head for their logo. Our kiwi 50 cent coin has a boat on the back, which is kinda close to a floating citadel, right?

This is interesting.

I was on Roo Island last round and switched to Haunted Woods as soon as we could choose teams for this round. When I went to check the main page it says "Round four sign-ups have begun! You were on a winning team, so it's advised that you don't switch."

Argh I think TNT is reading my mind in a negative way about when this competition takes place. The past two days I haven't had to work, but the rounds were over. Now today I have to work. Today it starts. But wait! It's nine hours past being Thursday, and it hasn't started yet. I have to go to work at about 2pm NST, and I know they won't have it start until after that. When I get home from work it'll be bedtime. Damn you TNT, this is how it was last week too!

I wish they'd just have it auto-start at midnight, and auto-end at the midnight of the last day. And at least tell us what day it ends too!

Not very organized IMO.

Oh well. I'm predicting Darigan to win because after each round it seems like the teams with the higher scores on the previous round gets knocked off. Obviously from everyone saying "Alright! High scoring team! I won't have to do much!" This'll be especially true in the finals because everyone want to be on THE winning team. Because of this I don't agree with their scoring system. Also because any player who isn't a hot shot 5000 wins player is really in all honesty dragging their team's average down. The team would be better off with out them even joining, which is a little depressing.

*agrees with mario's comment* Yeah, there is a scary pattern of highest scoring team keeps losing because freeloaders are joining and not helping one bit. -.- I joined HW cause I can't stand Darigan players anymore..least the ones on the neoboards. Arrogant people that can really make you sway your choices.

I expect DC to win cause they're not as favored as they were at first, while HW had the highest score,t hat seals their doom, but I'm sticking to that team.

I just hope TNT is fair to people and go by their scores and not which team they were on. It's stupid is a 100 point scores gets a terrible prize for being on a losing team while a person who did very little to nothing, but was on the winning team got an uber prize.
