Neopets have taken a smart, intelligent, cunning-looking fish and turned it into a cartoon guppy. That is NOT what Koi are. Not in the slightest. How can people possibly thing it is for the best? They have deleted the Koi's previous personality. And that is NOT what a revamp is about. It is about improving the art while keeping the style of the old pet. For shame, Neopets. For shame.


Goodness,it is not a guppy. Although,I do indeed adore the change,they should have made it a new pet.

I love the new koi. It almost makes me want one. It's defintly up there in my list of awesome neopian pets now.

Personaly had to vote for the grundo. It's too cutsie now :(
not that I don't like cute but it's innapropreate for the character

Personally, I don't think any of these pets (except the koi) look worse after their revamp. I look at the old vs the new, and can't believe that they let them look that way for so long. The time has passed when bored college kids were doing pencil drawings for their wacky new website-- I think the revamps are all more professional looking, and they reflect the high caliber of artists that neo can now afford.

Actually, aside from the constant cuteness factor, I think all the re-vamps are fine. (EXCEPT THE UGLY PURPLE ZAFARA...which isn't listed so nevermind.) But, I voted Grundo.

I voted wocky, though it was hard to choose between the wocky and skeith.

I hate both of the revamps. The wocky looks like a cat's head on a little fat dog's body and a cat's tail.
The skeith didn't look great before, but it looked WAY better. More lazy dragonish and it didn't have that weird humpback.
And I don't like the lupe revamp either. It doesn't look tall and proud anymore. If the wanted it to look cuter couldn't they have made it look more like the lupe concept? (If it doesn't show up click here)

I agree that the grundo really doesn't look like Sloth's minions, but I still like the way it looks.

They should have an Old Paint Brush so you can make your pet look like it use to.[/url]

Here here. I deffinatly agree.

I want to get an Eyrie and paint it old (into a Tatsu, those Cerpulls were ugly, IMO. x_X)

Oh! And the old Gelert (the one before this one; not Polypup) was awesome too. I think THAT was a bad makeover.
