Personally, I don't really like the April Fools Day joke. It takes time off what Neopets would have been doing, like making another plot, or another game. They can't make 50 images in 1 day, I'm telling you that. They should have taken their time doing more worthwhile things.

I think neopets should actually release all of those 50 pets, just stop the pet days. Anyone else here agree with me? Or at least release some? Like they have polls to vote on which ones should be neopets?

And this should be the Maraquan Yurble, if they are going to release all the pets they could knock it down to 49 than :)...

I don't think so. Like someone said, it would be too much work to create colors for all 50 of the pets, even though it's only a simple color change. They really should take their time to work on more important things.

I see your point, but my guess is they just gave all the artist one free day, and they all drew cool pets off the top of their heads. Also, where was it that one of the TNT staff members said that some of those "new" pets were actually old designs that didn't quite make it... I think it was the editorial...

Well a lot of those pets were designs that didn't quite make it in the past. If one or two seem popular we could possibly end up tweaking the things we didn't like so much about them and adding a more refined version. We have no plans to do that at present though.

How do I unzip the files from the site you have ccy? I have WinZip, I just don't know how to do it.

And the I agree with you ccy how it wasted time but, I didn't like this one one bit. I got exicted and was going to adopt the pets but I knew it was an april fools joke, it got me more mad than it made me laugh.

I'd love it if they would release at least some of them over a period of time - I loved the Polaflint, and the Shellow was also very cool. And it would be nice to have the Nikondrak for those who have been waiting patiently for a non-cute pet. It was a lame joke to show us such cool pets then take them away, and if I was miffed I hate to think how the younger kids who play neo felt :/

I think a LOT of them would be good petpets, but not all of them would make good pets...
