You can't really ever avoid breaking the rules from time to time.
It's impossible.
When they feel like freezing your account... they will

Neobuk, they fixed that glitch...hours...ago.... :x

Sun Aug 08, 2004 1:45 am

There was a glitch? I played games earlier today, between something like noon and around 2:30 p.m. (my time), and I know I only played 3 times, as far as I know it was keeping track. GAH!

Was this just something that happened and then went away? Like, are they fixed? My friend's here and wants to log into her account. Maybe I should tell her not to play any games tonight, just to be safe...

Ah, weekends on Neopets... ;)

everconfused, don't worry about your friend playing the games. Earlier today, there was a glitch that allowed you to play the games more than 3 times--I guess it wasn't keeping track of the number of times you had previously played the game. But, as far as I know it was fixed hours ago. And, all games that I have played since then have registered.

If you don't send the score, it doesn't count as a play of the game. :P

So, it won't get you frozen.

If yuo didn't send your score for more than 3 three times not, I'm playing sometimes for fun too.

yep, i just tried it, they fixed the glitch

First, be very glad they fixed that glitch...I remember last summer's big game glitch...so many people were frozen for "cheating on flash games" when there was a problem with the games - not the people playing them. Some never got their accounts back.

Finding a glitch is one thing - trying to take advantage is another.

OK, my friend did login and did play games earlier tonight. I did tell her there had been a problem, so she was watching and she said that everything was working fine, each game score sent was being counted as a play...good :)

I just left the site myself and people are posting on the boards that games aren't loading at all for them, or they're loading and playing, but not sending scores and saying that the person has already played 3 times. So I guess? something's being worked on...

I dunno if its just dial-up, but every time I try certain games like Magax Destroyer the game always loads to a certain % then stops. The seconds keep growing, but the seconds needed grows the same time, so its endless. However, it works fine on my other computer. 56% to be exact for Magax Destroyer.

Chaud,

I don't play that game (tried once, found it ... confusing!), but I have had that happen many times when trying to load games. When I click to play, I first get a black screen that just sits there for almost a minute, then the game loading animation opens and plays, then the game starts loading...sometimes in the progress it'll sit at whatever percent of the game while the other numbers keep changing. And if I close the window, refresh and try again? I can't get anything to happen - then I get a blank white screen.

This happened awhile ago when they first introduced shockwave. When they went back to just Flash, all the games worked pretty well. Bring back shockwave and games just don't all work right...slow, laggy, little pauses and "jerky" movements. Maybe it is simply shockwave and dial-up together. I've gone to a couple of other game sites that just use Flash and no problems at all.

I'm impressed with TNT for fixing the glitches yesterday relatively quickly.

Agreed. For a Saturday, it wasn't too bad--though I did lose a happy negg to a shop-buying glitch. Notice, I don't even get mad anymore--I have come to accept the glitches (geez, I must be brainwashed, eh? :P )

They must have hired someone that was able to work weekends.

I'm having problems with the games. They simply will not load for me...at all, not even a little bit. :( Oh well, perhaps tomorrow...
