LOL, Blue. I'd hope your hair isn't THAT unruly. ;p

Finally home. Trips are fun, but exhausting. I'm ready for a vacation from our vacation...hah!

erm... Day 1. BLB. 4k.

I might just skip tomorrow and start over on Tuesday.

Busy day today (Saturday) and tended bar tonight for an event. Nice crowd... of 16 year olds. But completely failed to do my dailies today (Saturday).

Day 1: 2.5k
Day 2: 5k

No idea what happened Friday.

Today, I woke up with vertigo and nausea. Managed to go pet-sit at two different houses, now back in bed hoping I'll get more sleep and somehow wake up feeling better.

Day 14, Matched 2, 19k

Sounds like no fun, Siniri. Hope you feel better soon.
Mr. P just got diagnosed with Shingles. Heaaaaaap tons of fun the next couple of weeks will be for him. Thankfully, I had chicken pox as a kid, and my kiddos are vaccinated, so at least we're not stuck at home with him?

Day 15, Matched 0, 18.5k, and a The Art of Making the Perfect Smore Book

I feel like it likes giving me the book. I think this is the third one?

I forgot that I was not going to spin today...

Day 2, no matches... But it didn't stick? It still says, "PLAY" on the button. I guess TNT read my post from yesterday and voided my spin today? Very weird.

I hope you are feeling better today, Siniri! Vertigo is no bueno.

Shingles...? Oh no. I know a few people who had that semi-recently. Neither one had a pleasant time. Not at all. Best wishes and prayers for Mr. P for a speedy recovery. Hopefully it is only weeks.

Day 3: 4.5k

The vertigo is basically gone. No idea what caused it. My brother has chronic vertigo (it's related to migraines and has similar triggers, including the weather). I really hope I'm not getting the same.

Shingles is not fun. I hope Mr. P caught it early enough to get some antivirals and can start feeling better soon. All 4 older siblings and my parents got it before the minimum age for the vaccine, but I can't get approved to get the vaccine. I need to try again with my current insurance company. (My brother's showed up in his eye and caused permanent -- though thankfully minimal -- damage.)

I suppose I could pay for the vaccine out of pocket, but I'd still need to convince a doctor to write a prescription for the off-label use.

Day 16, Matched 2, 19k, and a gift box

He got an antiviral and also some sort of steroid. So far, his pain levels are pretty low, especially if he takes a pain killer. Hopefully it will not get any worse. I might go get the shingles vaccine, if insurance will cover it at my age (which they might not, as I think they usually recommend it starting at 50, but I don't know?). I don't really want to go through the mess that Mr. P is right now, even if we did catch it early and he's not had it super bad (so far).

Glad the vertigo is gone, Siniri!

On a Neopets related note, apparently, sometime in the last few weeks, TNT updated the version of Ruffle they're using, and quite a few of the ActionScript 3 games now work (there has been no official announcement of this yet). Not all, still, but a chunk of them are now working. My kiddos figured this out when they had a little free time on their computers and randomly tried one of them. Much glee followed this discovery. Now...if only they'd get Brucey B and Pawkeet Slots working again... :P In all seriousness, though, if I'm understanding it right, more games are now working than are not. Yes, there are still bugs with some of them, but...the number that are playable without all sorts of work arounds is much higher now!

Here we go again. Day 1, Matched 2, 2k... Total: 2,000

Very glad Mr. P's not in a lot of pain. Hopefully it stays that way! One of the people I mentioned said that his arm felt like it was on fire for 3 weeks. He was in immense pain the whole time.

Day 4: 6k

It shouldn't get any worse with the antivirals, but it can take a while to get better. Mr. P's been having a rough year. Hope things get better and stay better!

Day 5: 6.5k

We didn't all stay synced very long, did we? It was nice while it lasted.

I've been on hold for the past 1 hour and 53 minutes with my student loan lender. Supposedly they close for the night... five minutes ago. Their only indication of how long it would take was "longer than 30 minutes."

Thank goodness for headphones. Boo for not having the option of Google holding for me and calling me back for some reason.
