Faerie Festival 20th September

In a lead up to the festival, Queen Fyora makes an appearance today (15th):

Light Faerie: Queen Fyora! Did you call for us?
Fyora: Yes, I did. I was thinking about the festival the other day. It's been a while since we've had a grand celebration and I was wondering if we could have one this year. It would be nice to invite other Neopians as well.

Fire Faerie: Wait, the festival? The Faerie Festival? Can we really do that this year?
Fyora: I think we should. And I know how much you both used to enjoy organizing such events.

Light Faerie: We would love to organize the festival, my queen!
Fire Faerie: Yes, definitely!

Fyora: That's wonderful! Let me inform the others then...
Fire Faerie & Light Faerie:*almost out of earshot* We're on it!

17th:
Fyora: How are the preparations going?
Light Faerie: Oh, splendid! All the faeries seem really excited about it.

Fire Faerie: Yes, most of the stalls are already taken up.
Fyora: That's good to know. How about Kaia? Is she volunteering at any of the stalls?

Light Faerie: No, my queen. On the contrary, she's been staying away from all the preparations.
Fire Faerie: Yes. All the student vacancies have been filled. I don't think Kaia will be able to join in now.

Fyora: Could you please send her over to the palace when you find her?
Light Faerie: Yes, my queen. We will.

19th:
Fyora: Kaia! Come in, have a seat.
Kaia: You wished to see me, my queen?

Fyora: Yes. I'm sure you're aware of the preparations for the Faerie Festival that are going on. Which stall are you volunteering at?
Kaia: I... They all had volunteers, my queen. I couldn't find any stall where I could help at.

Fyora: Hmm, I thought so. Well, we'll need a stall for you then. I want you to go ahead and set up a game stall - something which is festive and fun to play. It would be a nice addition to the Faerie Festival.
Kaia: My own stall? But are you sure, my queen? Could I really do that?

Fyora: *smiling* Of course, I'm sure!
Oh, I'm so excited! I'll get started immediately. I already have an idea in mind!

Oh, phew. I saw this and was worried I'd missed the first few days due to power outage + crazy work schedule.

Same here, less the power outage, rain and wind.

I second that. Thanks, Daze!

So, this starts up tomorrow? I shall need to be sure and check in on the festivities tomorrow.

Apparently the quest events (and game?) don't start until after the news...

My least favorite part of the Faerie Festival: not being able to cure or feed your pets for free. Guess it's time to add movie central back as a daily.

Although not yet officially released, the Faerie Festival page is now working.

New Game(The game is in coded in HTML5. So JS are moving forward at least.):
Wing It

I seemed to get it right.
Prize: Massive Ice Cream Sundae

You will be pleasantly surprised, at least with the feeding part. :D (Although, doesn't the HS cure illness if she is is restoring all health?)

The quests are only the item based ones of Jhudora, Illusen, Jhuidah, Taelia.

My 2 cents worth: Be Prepared To Be Underwhelmed With The 'Festival'.

I managed to earn 400nps for the game. Tally ho.

...of course, after I went through the trouble of temporarily getting rid of my NPs to be able to use the soup kitchen to get the avvie, now they're doing free feeds. Hah! Ah well, everyone else should be able to get it if they haven't already!

I can't remember if the automatic full heal is just on the 20th, or will go through the whole festival. Guess we'll find out tomorrow!

I received 150NP from the game. Woot?

Then again, I just won a Ghost Buzz Morphing Potion from the WoE

You are right Pickles. I had totally forgotten about that. The Healing Springs is back to normal.

The free soup is nice. Free refills, too ;)

I missed the statue on Wing It today.

I feel like that's the attitude one should have towards every event in Neopia since even before JS took over.

I'm a bit confused about "the little something" for visiting the festival daily if there's nothing to do to help the faeries each day. I worked until 10 last night and was exhausted - didn't even make it home, just crashed at the place where I'm dog-sitting... Long story, but my housemate was in the hospital this week, so I had to catsit at my own house, too... I always keep a toothbrush and toothpaste with me, so I crashed at the dog-sitting place. Anyway, I remembered to check the festival on my phone so I wouldn't miss a day (because JS has screwed that up before). I couldn't spin the wheel, didn't want to do one of the special quests (nor spend NC), managed to "wing it" (won nothing)... Is "wing it" the thing for daily visitors?

Anyway, I lost on Wing It again.
