My view one Heaven? Now you got my talkin'!
I believe in Heaven and that God created Earth and all living things. I believe animals have souls as well as people, too.

i believe that the universe was created after the last one was crushed to an infinetly small particle (or several of them anyway) and then exploded with such a force that it accelearted way beyond SOL.
i believe (and hope) that there is no reincarnation, (im not going through life again) and that heaven/valhalla/whathaveyou and hell/tuat/whatever are states of mind, gods live and die at our whim, angels and daemons are the physical manifestations of thoughts, emotions and actions and that animals stare at me on purpose.
as for religion, your god created me as an atheist, who are you to argue with his/her/their divine plan?

I believe it exists in some form. Not really the kind of above the could in paradise sorof thing, but more like eternal peace and happiness.

I believe in ghosts. I have had several family members die way before they should have. My sister's ghost visited me on her birthday--the year after she died. She had really bad teeth while she was alive due to a lot of antibiotics as a child. She smiled and showed me her white beautilful teeth and said to me "See, they even fixed my teeth." To tell me she was OK in what I guess was heaven.
My dad's ghost played tricks on us after he died--moved things around in our house. He had always been a jokester and my guess is that he was telling us that he had made it OK to the place beyond earth, whatever that is. Both my ex-husband and I could feel him there for several days after his death. And we had strange signs before he died: an owl hooted for hours in our backyard for three nights in a row. Never had an owl in our yard before that or after that. Supposedly that is a sign of a future death.
And I know, some of you are rolling your eyes right now. But it happened. I am a mom, in my 40's, not certifiably insane (yet), with a law school education. Think what you want--you were not there.
But, I think you have to be tuned in to feel these ghosts. In other words, not every one has or wants the ability to feel their presence. And, they have to be someone who really connected with you in real life. More of a loved you telling you things are OK because they see you so upset after their death--rather than unknown ghosts with rattling chains and yelling boo.
If you are interested, you should check out the internet re Abraham Lincoln and how he felt about the supernatural. He believed in ghosts and supposedly dreamed about his own death and had premonitions of his death. My daughter did an extensive report on this for school two years ago. It is fascinating to think a President of the US felt this way. Makes those of us who do believe look a little less crazy.

Belief in ghosts... nothing more than a desperate clinging to the fantasy of remaining with someone you love, or that you'll never die.
But so much evidence will appear to someone who wants to believe it.
